Aweful experience. Worker lied to us and sold us on the membership claiming we would get a bunch of free stuff we didn’t get. When I took my dog in for his “vet” appointment they completely stressed him out and muzzled him to do nothing. Mind you this is a pretty small mini Aussie. They tried to charge me for simply listening to his heart beat. They didn’t even check his teeth because they were too nervous. The vet there should have no business working with animals especially dogs. Both the vet and the technician were really jumpy and made my dog really nervous. I told therm that if they were nervous; dog will pick up on the energy and be unsure. They looked like they didn’t know anything about dog behavior. It really felt like they were making stuff up to see what they could charge me for since the visit was supposed to be free. They were just completely inadequate.in the end they charged me what they could and I went home with a stressed out dog. Will NOT be returning.

Got 3 little mice as pets today and they’re so friendly! I was expecting them to need a few days to adjust but they’re very friendly and social. Absolutely recommend getting mice from here!

I stopped by Petco looking for help with my daughter’s dog who’s been dealing with severe allergies and developing hot spots. An employee approached me and truly made the experience easy and reassuring. I wish I would've remembered to look at her name tag... she walked me through the options, explained what would work best, and even advised me against buying an extra product I didn’t actually need. That kind of integrity and customer-first mindset is rare. I’m very grateful for the thoughtful help and will definitely return.

My dog has been really liking the refrigerator brand Ollie. So this evening I went to get Ollie products and the freezer was so over active that big hunks of ice were all over the bags. I literally had to hit it to break it apart to get the bag out. Then I noticed the freezer next to it that was full of Stella and Chewy product and another brand i don't recognize, was dark and getting warm. I told an employee on the floor and he said he was off, but would tell the front cashier. He did do that and the front cashier said there were only 2 employees, the manager was on vacation, and he doesn't know who will deal with it when I suggested they could move the product to any of the like 9 other freezers before it goes bad. Appears that isn't going to happen, but now it makes me wonder if any of their freezers are truly keeping product safe at proper temperature. I don't want my pets or yours to get sick from lack of proper food safety. Because if there is no one to deal with this, was there no one dealing with problems with the other freezers? Not feeling good about this. Are there food safety inspectors for freezer pet food? If that were your freezer and you had another freezer you would move the food asap. Would take like 10 minutes. Might need to rethink where I get my freezer pet food that is more interested in keeping it safe. I get he can't leave the register, but this seems like kind of an emergency that staff could help mitigate for pet safety. And whoever is doing staffing and managing ... you might need to rethink your staffing numbers if you don't have the people able to deal with situations. Hope things improve.

Good helpful staff willing to spend time yet always high prices man makes me feel bad to buy online after looking in store at places like Wilco checking boots out often will pay the extra 10 dollars or whatever since they had it where I could try them in person. But ouch! Animal stuff needs to be cheap because of these high prices so many dogs cats birds go without when few fet spoiled like my Goffin Cockatoo she's absolutly spoiled yet primarily shop online especialy for perches maybe if you buy 1 its okay at this price I buy dozens for her aviary and 5 homes of different sizes shoot I have long ropes going across my room for her to traverse in multiple directions. So get prices lower Chewy is taking you guys out!
