Nice beautiful place with boats, kayaks, and paddle boats to rent. No fishing rods to rent but they have ones you can buy.

Great place to walk, picnic, run, and access to the lake! Always deer to observe as well.

20230331 My go-to park to walk my pups when traveling thru TN. I walked up the hill to the picnic pavillions and discover restrooms in the Pavillions, saw a white tail deer, and there is what appeared to be a vacant parking lot that is not longer in used. Crossed paths with 2 men, Austin and Brian, with a beautiful brown Dobie, Leo. Austin was very friendly. I love TN people! The friendliest State I have traveled to pretty much most of East Coast!! 20221209 This 0.68 mile trail is paved with a nice view. Its great for walking the pups after it rained, less dirty and muddy on paved trail. I stopped here on my way home for a short walk with my girls. I really enjoyed the view. So pretty and calming. 202112 I love the trail around the lake. It's 0.79 miles from my parking space. The trail is 100% paved which is great with additional paths that cut through for shorter walk. There are several picnic shelters with picnic tables and BBQ grill. I like seeing the geese in the water or just hanging out on the grass relaxing. What a life to be free from politics.

The whole area is a tad confusing. Luckily, today Google maps didn't take me down a road that was blocked off. The area is beautiful tho. I went super early this morning and was able to catch fog over the lakes!!

We decided to check this out while on a road trip to see the fall colors and found such a beautiful gem of a park.
