We heard this was a must visit spot. The ambiance is very quaint. No AC for those who need it. The pins colada was excellent but we had to ask for it a couple times before we got it and it was way after our appetizers were served. The beef stew and pork chops were delish. The steak and onions didn’t appeal to us as much as the rest of the items. Service was nice.

The food was delicious and did not disappoint We waited maybe 10 to 15 min. parking wasn't too bad to find in the area. The staff is really nice and helpful they get you in fast. They give you a cup of the house soup and a bacalao crisp The rice and gandule were delicious. The carne empanizada was delicious Plantains were fresh everything tasted great.

We had a great lunch at La Casita Blanca, which had been recommended to us several times and declared by our uber driver as the best food on the island. We got there about 15 minutes before they opened, but because it was raining out, the staff let us in early and got us seated, which was so kind of them. The complimentary plantain soup was one of my favorite dishes of the meal, but everything was flavorful and quality. We were a little sad we didn’t get to try the codfish fritters that others had talked about, and we wanted to try the tres leches which one of the servers said we could have, but then another rang us out and said they weren’t serving dessert. Overall, the spot definitely lived up to the hype, and we were glad we got to try authentic, traditional Puerto Rican cuisine.

We went to La Casita Blanca and arrived around 11:15 am, and there was already a line outside, so I definitely recommend getting there early if you want to be among the first tables seated. It’s a very local restaurant with authentic Puerto Rican food and a very traditional atmosphere. The service is average and a bit simple, but the food is really good and clearly the highlight of the place. The dishes are made with quality ingredients, everything tastes homemade, and the portions are very generous. It’s the kind of place where you can try classic Puerto Rican flavors in a very authentic setting. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want to experience real local food. I would definitely go back.

La Casita Blanca – Authentic Puerto Rican Flavor & Warm Hospitality From the moment we arrived at La Casita Blanca, we felt welcomed. They offer valet parking, which made things so much easier especially since parking in the area can be difficult. Definitely don’t forget to tip the valet! We went around lunchtime, and the place fills up quickly. Luckily, we were able to get seated after a short wait. The host was very kind and welcoming, gave us a great table, and even brought out small appetizers to try while we looked over the menu,a really nice touch. The menu is straightforward and easy to follow, displayed on a large board for everyone to see while enjoying their starters. We decided to try a variety of classic Puerto Rican dishes: • Limonada con Menta • Limonada Natural • Bacalao Guisado with arroz con habichuelas • Carne Guisada with arroz con habichuelas • Bistec Encebollado with arroz con habichuelas • Aguacate and Amarillos • A bottle of their hot sauce • And of course, Tres Leches for dessert Every plate was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, authentic, and full of that homemade Puerto Rican comfort food taste. We shared a little bit of everything, and honestly, there wasn’t a single dish we didn’t enjoy. The customer service was excellent, the food was memorable, and the overall experience was wonderful. I highly recommend La Casita Blanca if you’re looking for true Puerto Rican cuisine in San Juan. We will definitely be back!
