Best Friends Animal Hospital

We had been bringing our dog here for years and now that we have a new one we are coming back. They have all been wonderful helping us through all the puppy phases to adult dog. They are always there when we have to make the occasional call for her ears bothering her to play injuries.

I went with my Beardie yesterday since round lake pet hospital stopped doing exotic animals before he could go . They treated me and nugget so well. They helpped me with the boo boo on his head . I already see improvement. And they are so kind when i got home one of his meds had spilled on the way home before i got to touch it i dont know how it did but i called and they easily replaced it that day. I think well I definitely know I chose a good new vet for nugget to see for the first time . And as a broke college student it was so affordable.

Very polite and very concerned about our pet. Always nice and clean. The ladies at the Helm are always helpful with a smile. We are happy we switched Vets and came to Best Friends.

My bunny Zela had an accident at night, I called here the next morning as soon as they opened. They got us in within that hour! Dr. Hamilton is so kind and helpful, which was originally supposed to be a quick appointment ended up with me leaving her there during the day. I 100000% trusted her being there and being taken are of! Exotic VetMed is really expensive but with her being there all day, a good exam, and 3 different kinds of meds we paid less than $300. Staff is so kind and you can just tell they care about animals. I love that they have a little “relaxation” station with calming tools for pets! The day after her appointment the office texted me for an update which I thought was so awesome and relieving that they care so much! I would honestly drive an hour plus just to come to this place. I highly highly highly recommend, even if it is expensive for your pet they 100% are getting amazing care that’s worth the price.

This was our first visit to Best Friends Animal Hospital. One of our dogs had a traumatic experience at another vet’s office and we are so glad we came here. Dr. Hamilton and her tech could not have been more understanding of our boy’s new issue. They handled both him and his humans with kindness and care. Their medical knowledge was clearly evident as well. Were going back!
