(from Google)It seems like it used to be a hiking spot but now nobody uses the trail. It looks totally abandoned. The trails are confusing going up the little hill because of the overgrown dead plants and there’s a bunch of old dog poop and trash everywhere. It has a lot of potential and you can actually get a decent workout, but it needs a lot of maintenance.
A great place for rock climbing.
This is a beautiful location for a family hike in February on Presidents’ Day. Warm but not hot. Cool breeze and not crowded. Winter rains have allowed many local flowers to thrive, especially the California poppy. It appears that the trail is not regularly maintained and is overgrown in some places. Keep in mind prickly thistle plants are plentiful and I would rate the experience as mildly challenging.
Beautiful flowers in February. Lots of hummingbirds and other wildlife. Nice rocks 👍
It was mostly a hill with dead brush.
