(from Google)Treeline Cancer Care isn't just a clinic; it is a sanctuary of gifted healers. When our 11-year-old Golden Retriever, Kenya, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, it felt as though our world had come to a standstill. But walking into Treeline changed everything. Instead of a cold, clinical hospital, we found a place filled with warmth, soft beds, and a genuine sense of peace that made us feel certain she was in the best possible hands. Because of this team, Kenya didn't just survive; she thrived for nearly two years. This was way past the prognosis that was given to her when she was diagnosed originally, based on the type of aggressive cancer she had. That time was a gift we never expected, and it was a total success. Dr. Janson was Kenya's primary doctor, and I truly struggle to find words beautiful enough to describe her. She has this calming energy and a deeply intuitive approach, and she fought right alongside our girl with such relentless devotion and kindness. Thank you, Dr. Janson, for never giving up on our girl. You were her champion. We also owe so much to Dr. Oberthaler and the entire staff, who are simply amazing. They didn't just "treat" Kenya, they loved her. They knew her name, celebrated her milestones like they were their own, and looked after her with a rare kind of compassion. Kenya was a brave warrior with a larger-than-life spirit, and it was her incredible heart combined with the "above and beyond" care from this team that allowed her to truly beat the odds. I want everyone who reads this to know that even with an osteosarcoma diagnosis at age 11, she continued to fight every single day because of the support she had here. She remained a fierce fighter until the very end, wagging her tail and showing that beautiful spirit even in her final days. Treeline didn't just provide treatment; they fought alongside her, believed in her, and with everyone fighting her fight with her, she kept that strength to keep being the warrior we knew and loved. If you love your pet and want them in hands that are as capable as they are kind, Treeline is the place. They gave us the greatest gift of all, which was more time and a beautiful quality of life with our precious girl, and for that, we are forever grateful.
Bodhi was diagnosed with cancer a year ago. We found the care team at Treeline to always be very sweet, caring and responsive. As you can imagine, it’s been a long heart breaking journey but Treeline has always been available to answer our questions and see Bodhi short notice. We feel grateful to have found them.
I’ve been taking my kitty Phoebe to Treeline for chemo after she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The staff have been so wonderful and kind and Dr. Oberthaler is simply the best (and the office is so comforting.) They’ve explained everything thoroughly, helped me understand my options and how best to help my baby and I’m so grateful that they exist.
Treeline is the second oncologist I visited after learning Blue had lymphoma. I didn't expect much. I'd already done my research and the first oncologist confirmed everything I knew. But the first oncologist didn't feel right. Dr O was much more empathetic and it felt like she was willing to do more to help Blue. They treat my pup so well here. I want blue's treatment to be done by someone who loves him and it definitely feels like the treeline staff is obsessed with Blue! I love how personal the treatment feels. I can text them and they respond quickly. They are always texting asking how he's feeling. They dress him up (so cute) and send photos. They spend plenty of time with me and answer all my questions. And when he's undergoing treatment they cuddle him 🥰 They have a second oncologist who's specialized in naturalistic and eastern medicine. I wanted to do everything possible for Blue so I did meet with her to talk about supplements and I thought that was a nice option to have. Finally, Dr O told me about a lesser-known treatment called bone marrow transplants. While most canine lymphoma treatment is temporary, there are two ventets located in the US that are curing the disease. She worked with me to customize blue's treatment to prepare him for this. They even had to stay open late one day to give him a non-standard high dose chemo that lasted all day. Blue is currently doing his bone marrow transplant and it's crazy to say, but I miss visiting treeline!
When we found out our dog had Lymphoma, the situation was urgent because she was showing signs of blindness. Her diagnosis came over a holiday weekend and we were struggling to find her the immediate care she needed. Thank goodness for the kind folks at Treeline Vet Cancer care! They responded immediately and prioritized us to be seen on Monday morning when no one else was available. Our dog fully regained her vision in 48 hours and already had significant relief from other symptoms within days. Treeline is great because they take the time to explain all the treatment options and help you find the right ones for your family that fit your budget. When you’re going through such a difficult time, it’s so reassuring to have such knowledgeable and caring professionals to help you through it. We are now at about 6 months since the diagnosis and our dog is still doing great with a high quality of life. Our dog loves going to see the folks at Treeline and greets them like they are family because they treat her so well (this is the dog that normally hates the vet!)
