(from Google)Nice trail most of the way. Grass was long in some areas. Informative signage.
I would like to say there is no part of Florida that is public space meaning other humans and dogs are also allowed to be there is not off leash please don't come here or anywhere in Florida thinking it's okay for your dog to be off leash because it's not there is a leash law in Florida any public spaces your dog has to be on a leash including service animals so get over it. All counties have leash laws you want to let your dog roam free go to a fenced in dog park stop ruining public spaces because your lazy put your dog on a leash.
Very nice hiking trail to let the dogs off the leash. This area is remote and away from the tourist area
Easy to follow trail. Mostly full sun. The surface is sand or grass. 1.7 miles. Nice informational signs, but the plants they refer to are not always present. We saw lots of fidler crabs. The trail has been cleared since the recent hurricane, but the park is still in recovery and partially closed. Trail entrance kiosk had fallen over. Bring a bag to help pick up trash. Don't venture off the trail too far because there is lots of poison ivy.
What a great hike! Had so fun
