(from Google)The park is worth the entrance fee (I paid $3.00). It's tranquil to walk between the 55 year old redwood trees. Expect around 300 trees in a cluster. They are still young but are taller than last time I visited (in 2014). Great place to have a picnic near the lake. Some options for light - moderate hiking.
The park is clean, peaceful, and easy to walk around. The Redwood Grove is definitely the highlight — it’s the only redwood grove in Southern California and feels calm and refreshing. A great place for a relaxing walk and a quick nature escape.
Wow is this spot gorgeous. I had no idea this was here, right in the middle of Brea. The redwood grove is stunning. Perfect place for a little hike, but we were here (with about 50 other photographers) for family pictures. Highly recommend, but bring comfy shoes for the walk in.
Entry was $5.00, plenty of parking and the pathways to the play sets were wide and well kept. Restrooms were clean and neat. Lots of playgrounds for kids to go to. There was 2 areas that were closed today. Not many people in the park today with overcast weather. Plenty of pavilions to have parties at. Plenty of noise from the 142 with people whizzing by.
We love this park. Big playground for the kids. A fishing spot. The view is top notch. Very clean and safe park for your family. This spot is my family go to park for recreation and relaxation. I do recommend this place.👍👍
