(from Google)I love this trail! I enjoy everyday going with my baby and my dog! ♥️
There is a concrete pathway, however if you are walking (or maybe mountain biking) there are worn dirt paths that pretty much parallel the concrete paths. These are awesome, solitude and beauty.
Cottonwood Creek North Trail is a peaceful escape, perfect for a leisurely walk or bike ride. The trail is well-maintained, offering a serene connection with nature. However, additional signage could enhance the experience for newcomers, guiding them through the beautiful surroundings.
Great place for a nice walk, definitely lots of nature around and exits to the neighborhoods. I was pleased to see a policeman on bike patrolling the area. Lots of shade for even a walk on a hot day.
The hike and bike trail gets extremely narrow and curvy starting at the old railroad bridge, past the old pond dam, and onward until Exchange Road. The trail seriously needs to be widened and straightened to improve both cyclists, joggers, and walkers safety. I personally encountered a run in with a tree that is very close to the hike and bike trail. Luckily, I was not going too fast, but was distracted by the pond area and did not have sufficient time to brake to avert hitting the tree with my bicycle and body. The attached photos will attest to the extremely curvy trail, and the trail being constructed too close to a tree. The trail should be modified to prevent others from being injured.
