(from Google)We sent our 11 month old husky mix, Charlie, for 2 weeks of training with Danielle. Danielle’s training style is firm, but affectionate (with lots of patience). I loved seeing Charlie receive back scratches and big praise in the video updates Danielle sent throughout the process. Charlie is my family and it calmed my nerves to know she wasn’t being treated like a robot. I work at a small private school and it was important to me that Charlie have lots of exposure to distractions so she can come to work with me. When Danielle sent the first video of Charlie playing with her kids and NOT jumping on them, I think I cried! Danielle was incredibly thorough at the pickup meeting and walked my husband and I step by step through the commands Charlie learned and had us work the commands ourselves. I think it’s important to note that the training has to continue at home. Danielle gave us, and Charlie, all the right tools and it’s up to us to use them. I’m not an expert, and I’m not expected to be! Danielle has been fantastic about answering questions that arise as I keep up Charlie’s training. It’s so nice to have continued support now that we’re home. The 2 week OLK9 training is truly one of the best investments I’ve ever made. If you are on the fence, don’t be. Just book the training!
I brought my 3year old adopted corgi mix to Off Leash because of some aggressive issues toward other dogs when on walks. We chose to do the advanced training so we could work on being able to take him on hikes and to breweries/restaurants. Eva was such a great trainer! She was super knowledgeable and always available to answer questions. Whenever i wanted to change the direction if training she was very flexible with that too. My dog learned so quickly under her supervision and i felt like i really could carry over the training at home. The advanced sessions really felt like just hanging out with a friend.
We went through the anxiety management 8 week course with Eva and enjoyed it so much! Luka is a german shepherd mix that struggles with his confidence and anxiety around strangers and new places. Eva helped us work on basic commands and going out into public! I noticed a huge difference even from the first lesson. She has made our lives so much happier and easier! I definitely recommend Off Leash for any training needs.
EVA is the BEST EVER! Our Australian Shepherd is such a happy and excited boy but would bark excessively, pulled on his leash which made it very difficult to go on walks and is very stubborn and would only listen when he felt like it. We did the two week board and train with Eva. She sent us updates everyday so we got to see his progress and I was blown away! I never thought he would be able to be off leash! It is clear our pup loves Eva and she loves him which also help put me at ease. When we met to pick Ryan up we got to see them in action in person. I was very nervous and anxious to have to do this myself but Eva encouraged me and walked me through everything! I left there with confidence which in turn instilled confidence in Ryan when he was with me. She has checked on him everyday since him being home with us and I love I am able to ask her questions! I highly recommend her and Off Leash K9 Training!! I feel like my dog is happier and we have a great relationship. It is such a relief to not get frustrated with him. This was the best decision we made!
We LOVED training with Eva!! She was the absolute best trainer. She was super professional, went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied, and was so good with our two pups. She helped give us and our dogs the confidence they needed while learning the skills. She loved our dogs like her own and made us feel super comfortable! Training is not cheap and we were sceptic at first but after going through the basic obedience training I would do it all over again. Our pups can heel, place, off, come, and down. They both were very hyper and needed more structure and that’s what Offleash training gave them! Anyone that is sceptic like us I would tell them to just do it! It’s definitely an investment but it makes everyday life so much easier and allows us to enjoy our dogs even more! AND if you get a chance to train with Eva I would 100 percent recommend doing so!! Thank you Offleash training & Eva!! Evan & Grace Goen
