(from Google)Little park but very pretty serene views and quiet! Loved being able to listen to all the birds chirp away and watch the squirrels run. Nice walk by the bay. A little bit of history with placards to read about. The tree is beautiful and the art around it is very well done! A very cute place especially to get some peace! Also located near a very cute town with local shops/eateries within walking distance.
Oaks by the Bay Park is a very small city park with access to the shoreline of the bay. There is a raised boardwalk for viewing the waterfront. A grove of small Live Oaks provides shade and beauty of nature around the boardwalk. There is quite a large Live Oak in the center of the park with a historical plaque. The purpose of our visit was a farmer's market. There weren't many vendors, but our visit was in early March. The one produce vendor had beautiful fruits and vegetables. Bakers, kettle corn, soap makers, vaccuum-sealed dehydrated fruits, and crafters were among the other vendors present.
Very pretty park. Dock by the bay to sit and view. Lots of Pokémon Go activity, if you are into that.
Very beautiful and relaxing with some interesting historical sites. My only issue was no place to park my bike closer to the dune walk. However, the path was wide enough for me to walk with it by my side and then some, so everything worked out quite fine. Overall wonderful experience, and the park is very close to some stores if you want a snack. I did not happen to visit the playground in this trip, but I imagine it is just as great! 5/5 ⭐
I recently visited the Oaks by the Bay Park at 2715 W 10th St, in Panama City, FL. Parking isn't real good but I parked close.enough to be manageable. The old oak tree was a beautiful site and well protected. The boardwalk takes you on a nice path to the beach area. There are plenty of seats to rest on. The park is very well kept and a nice place to go visit.
