(from Google)We came here after a snowstorm and there's an adequate sledding hill. You can't miss it -- there were about 100 kids and adults having a lot of fun sliding down the mountain. I remembered having so much fun sledding as a kid. I felt a little ridiculous sledding now, somehow I didn't realize it's not something adults really do. We managed to have fun anyway.
This park has a nice baseball field, some green space given over to lacrosse, some dilapidated basketball and tennis courts, and an eroded gravel path that leads to ... the lawnmower shed. However, a winding, undulating path through some natural areas, some picnic tables, and a scenic pond make this park worth visiting. One major complaint: Other than the baseball field stands, there is nowhere in this entire park where you can sit down!
Huge park Many area for parking and to hangout Walking path Pond is green Also have tennis court
Donated to the Burrough of Franklin Lakes by Express Scripts this is a huge 84 acre park that features baseball fields, ponds (as the name says), walking paths and easy trails and more….Great spacious park to enjoy with family and friends.
The sledding hills are popular... if you come a few days after the snow, you’ll find some areas to be hard-compacted ice and fast due to use and melting. You may want to bring a helmet.
