⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Three Sisters Park in Evergreen, CO, is a beautiful spot for hiking, trail running, and enjoying the outdoors. The trails are well-maintained and offer a great mix of easy and moderate routes, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and rock formations. It’s a peaceful escape with plenty of space to explore, and the park is dog-friendly, making it a great choice for pet owners. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing walk or a more challenging adventure, this park is a must-visit!
I parked at the west parking lot and I took the Western Mountain Trail. It's most shaded. And Not a lot of people on the trail on a Saturday morning, Quite a few mountain bikers, but they usually don't bother you much. The view on the top of the mountain was very nice. And I recommend it to everyone who enjoined the nature.
I can’t say enough good about Jefferson County Parks in general. Their trails are always well maintained and marked. The trailhead parking is ample in most cases with a convenient (and clean) bathroom. Alderfer/Three Sisters Park is no exception. There is a wonderful complex of trails that offer something for everyone. Want a beautiful vista with relatively flat terrain? Then take an easy hike through a meadow. Want something a little more challenging with a significant gain in elevation? The trail to the summit of Evergreen Mountain leads you through sun dappled trails bordered by lodge pole pines. I plan on returning here often. I expect that the seasons will bring new palettes of colors and changing views to make it seem new with each visit.
My favorite park in Evergreen to go again and again in all weather types! There are multiple entrances and trail heads to check out. Definitely need to come back multiple times if you want to experience the whole area. There are open fields and even some low level climbing opportunities
