Atmosphere good. Service nice and Amy so sweet. But the food OMG!!! I ordered the ‘pig pen’ and I chose brisket with the ribs, mac & cheese, and tots. The ribs were tender and the brisket was delish! It took two to eat it. Patrons seem very nice also. One came up to me and talked about the generous portions here. I had to agree with her. If you want some tender ribs the this is the spot.

The food wasn't bad but definitely not something that I would want to come back for. Our server was friendly but she was the only one handling the restaurant. She was running around doing her best to take care of everyone but she could have definitely used help. We waited about an hour for food to arrive so I'm not sure if they were understaffed in the kitchen as well. I ordered the chimichurri salad and the trip-tip was choped in small pieces and tasted dry. My daughter got the loaded fries and they overdid it with the sauce. The brisket on the fries was just ok. My husband had the wedge salad and his tri-tip wasn't even warm. I had the Princess Peach drink and I could taste the sparkling wine but not much peach flavor. A peach ring garnish might help elevate the drink. Probably won't be coming back but it wasn't the worst experience.

The Twisted Pig Bar and Grill offers a fun, energetic dining experience that feels both relaxed and well put together. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere had a lively buzz that made it clear this is a place people genuinely enjoy spending time in. What impressed me most was the creativity behind the menu. The food wasn’t just satisfying — it had personality. Each dish felt thoughtfully assembled, delivering bold flavors without going overboard. It’s the kind of place where comfort food meets a bit of imagination. The service kept the experience flowing smoothly. Friendly and attentive without being overbearing, the staff made everything feel easy and welcoming. Overall, The Twisted Pig is a great spot to enjoy flavorful food in a vibrant setting. It’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression.

If you want to live high on the hog you should really come out to this rare truffle. The Twisted Pig located in the charming Hamlet of Modesto. From snoot to tail, it had a lovely vibe. Pretty decent happy hour specials. The smoky old fashioned in particular was crafted with perfection. Plenty of appetizers to root through. My particular fave was the belly bombs. Smoky, maple sweet with just a kick of picante flavor. It had me squealing with joy! If you're taking your pigs to market, I highly suggest this place!

Disappointing. I have been wanting to try this place and I don’t think I’ll be back. The service was extremely slow, 3 people took 1.5 hours from sitting down to leaving, and we only ordered a beer and 3 entrees. When we sat down, the table next to us had dirty dishes on it that weren’t cleared off until just before we left. The table on our other side still had dirty dishes from the people that left about 20 minutes into our time there. I ordered the Mac & Cheese as my meal, and it was not at all as described on the menu. It’s supposed to have a beer cheese sauce, but it was SO dry I think they forgot the cheese sauce (see picture)- I’m glad the pulled pork had BBQ sauce in it so I could mix it together. The menu also said it comes with bacon & breadcrumbs, but it came with neither (came out with just the noodles & pork). I let the server know it was missing bacon, which she said it wasn’t supposed to have that in it (despite it listing it on the menu) but she did come back with a cup of bacon. So I’m not sure if it’s an error on the menu, but if it is that needs to be fixed. The positives are the pulled pork is tasty, and the portion size is great (the picture is my leftovers). And the two others I was with liked their meal well enough. But for me this experience was not good enough for me to come back again.
