(from Google)Free, some shade on one side of water, disc golf trails, prairie dogs amid fishermen, def needs some water cleanup days but its mowed pretty.
I enjoyed the sunset here with Prairie dogs and lots of migratory birds. There was lots of people out and pretty good vibes. A coupla random dogs joined me while I took pics and watches the birds. Good park that connects to a few other parks along the waterway thats there. Free admission and parking.
I absolutely love this place. It's such a peaceful and beautiful part of Lubbock. Walking there is my getaway from such a chaotic day. And my destress 🫠you may see me walking around the water lake area enjoying my evening walks👋🏽
Great park with a nice lake. Well mowed grassy area to play. A few ducks that may be friendly. There is a lot of garbage littering the brushy areas near the water.
Great little disc golf course. Hidden gem in Lubbock. Mostly par 3’s in a small wooded area. Baskets are a little older but they have character. All baskets have art work from a local metal welder. All around great experience.
