I have been going to Dr. Bryant for almost a year now. I couldn’t get into my regular vet and needed to have my pit bull, Bella, seen quickly. Dr. Bryant’s office understood it was an emergency and got us in right away. I have never been to a veterinary office where the doctor gets on the floor to examine an animal just to make them animal feel more comfortable, even with his own back issues. He is also the first vet who has shown me an ultrasound and taken the time to explain in detail what he was seeing. Bella was in very bad shape when I brought her in and needed surgery immediately. Since then, she has had multiple surgeries after being diagnosed with skin cancer. The first surgery was especially difficult because Dr. Bryant had to remove a significant amount of disease. When he explained the complexity of the procedure and the amount of work involved, I was truly grateful for his skill and dedication to my dog. Throughout her journey, Dr. Bryant has done an excellent job with communicating with us about her treatment. While she is unfortunately not cancer-free, he and his team have done everything in their power to make sure she is living a happy and comfortable life. I recently brought in my 12-year-old yellow lab and truly believed we might have to put him down after he had what seemed like a stroke. He was hospitalized for two days, and although it was a very difficult time for our family, we knew he was receiving the best care possible. We have seen firsthand how much Dr. Bryant and his staff genuinely care for and love these animals. He may not be able to perform miracles, but I have seen how hard he tries for every single animal he treats. My parents and brother also bring their animals here, which I feel like thats says a lot. My family and I are incredibly grateful for Lone Star Veterinary Hospital, and we wouldn’t take our pets anywhere else.

Dr. Bryant is amazing! He is very thorough and offers multiple solutions. He and his staff are not judgemental and try to find every solution that will work within your budget. Dr. Bryant cares about my animals just like they were his own. I love that they also offer grooming - one stop shop. Laser therapy was a great option for my boxer instead of surgery. We love Lonestar!

Had my dog groomed. The groomer was very nice and attentive. The front desk people don't seem to know much information and the price was not what was disclosed upfront. We love Dr. Bryant as our vet!

Three years ago a 6 month old stray came to our door. His eyes were matted shut, he had mange and you could clearly see his ribs & hip bones. I tried nursing him as best as we could but worried about how we found him I took him in for a check up. The staff was super amazing helped us get him back on his feet and he is now a thriving member of our family. Fast forward 3 years, another stray came to us. This one had his ear swollen and looked underweight. I called on a Friday afternoon and they couldn’t get me in until Monday. I asked if there was anything I could do to help relieve his discomfort. The receptionist put me on hold and asked if I could come in 45 minutes they would try to squeeze me in. They took great care with him. While we’re were there they also had another emergency come in & we’re juggling all of it. During that time they still provided detailed treatment options with upfront pricing explanations. I’m glad to know they still continue to do their best with difficult situations.

Terrible Experience – Please Read Before Bringing Your Pet Here I’m leaving this review to warn anyone considering this clinic. We originally chose this veterinary office because their prices were significantly lower than other clinics in the Atascocita, Humble, and Crosby areas. Unfortunately, I deeply regret giving them our business and will be returning to Banfield or other veterinarians we’ve trusted in the past. As the daughter of someone who has worked in veterinary care for over 30 years, I was shocked by the way my dog was treated. While I don’t live close enough to use my family’s clinic, I shared my experience with my mother, and she confirmed that what occurred here was not standard or acceptable practice. At most reputable clinics, pets are taken to a proper kennel after drop-off. If a pet arrives in a carrier, the carrier is sometimes placed inside the kennel to help them feel more comfortable—but the animal still has space to move around and relieve themselves if needed. Staff would then clean the pet, replace bedding, or transfer them to a clean kennel as necessary. For shy, anxious, or defensive dogs, technicians are trained to handle them with care—using towels, gentle restraint, or muzzles if appropriate. They may also take time to help the animal warm up by offering treats or attention in a quiet room. This clinic, however, left my dog confined in a small cloth carrier for over eight hours. They did not attempt to move her to a kennel or provide a walk, water, or bathroom break until 2:30 in the afternoon. I received only one phone call—by which point I was over an hour away. I immediately dropped everything, rearranged my day, and drove back to retrieve her as soon as possible. The response from the clinic afterward took no accountability. There was no effort to acknowledge the mistake, educate their staff, or improve their procedures. Their lack of empathy and professionalism is alarming, especially for a facility that also offers boarding services. I would strongly caution anyone against trusting them with their pets. No animal deserves to be neglected in this way.
