Went in for an emergency vet appointment for my 12 year old doggie. I was told the wait was about 6 hours but was seen in 2. They were very compassionate about their work. The vet knew right away that my fur baby was not coming home with me but did a blood test to confirm, complete kidney failure. The procedure was very peaceful and my Missy died in my arms. I felt her pain lift away within seconds. They gave me as much time as I needed before and after to say our goodbyes. I definitely recommend this place, even though I hope you never need to go there! And the price was very reasonable for what was done.

My soul dog had sudden symtpoms of GDV/Bloat (we did not know for sure what was going on) late Friday night into Saturday in January. I rushed her to OPVMC and they took her back immediately. With not so good news, they gave me all possible options to consider. I knew it was going to cost me more than I could afford but she is was and is worth every penny. The Vets and Vet Techs were so amazing with her. Any time I called or they called me with an update I felt at ease knowing she was progressing how they had hoped for. Each of her Vets she was under care of, answered any and every question I had. It was so hard for me to leave her there while she recieved treatment but they assured me she was in the best hands. They were able to get her stable enough to bring her home a little under 48 hours later. I was able to call our regular vet the next morning and was able to get her for immediate surgery. With my girl being 11.5 y/o, I was so concerned about the stress this may have brought her and how recovering from surgery would take twice as long. They gave me postive reinforcement I was doing the right thing. If it wasn't for me being a hellicopter dog mom, OPVMCs fast acting to bring her back, and give her the thorough care and necessary treatment... I don't think we would have had the positive outcome we ended up with. Thankful!

I brought my soul cat, Grey (Age 15 at the time) to OPVMC as an emergency in July of ‘24 for a broken leg. They took great care of her and splinted her and we got to go home. Unfortunately her leg wasn’t healing and we went forward with amputation, which she recovered from beautifully. In her labs they found some other issues that had to be addressed so I brought her back for frequent visits to check up on these issues. She had preexisting kidney disease that was being treated before the leg break with our primary vet, so she had a lot going on. On Dec 23rd 2025, she had an episode that prompted another emergency visit. They saw her right away and stabilized her. They initially tried to see if we could get her to come home, but after discovering she had some more issues with a poor prognosis, we felt Grey was indeed telling us it was time for her to go. They did everything they could to potentially avoid euthanasia, but we knew it was time. Why am I telling all of this in a Google review? I feel like Grey received really amazing care and OPVMC did everything they could to help me ensure Grey was happy and comfortable until the end. It was a lot of money, sure, but I did it for my soulmate. I suppose I’m writing this as a sort of a thank you for all the help I received. I also received a very lovely, heartfelt note from the Doctor who saw her on the 23rd and Dr. Hall, who saw her on her scheduled visits. Thank you for reading, and I hope others experience the same level of care that we did.

The care my dog Chanel received at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center was beyond excellent. Everyone at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center treated my dog Chanel with the best possible care. Every single person we met from the Vets to the Vet Techs to the Front Desk Workers were friendly, kind, empathetic and knowledgeable. I truly cannot thank OPVMC enough for saving my dog Chanel’s life. Thank you OPVMC for providing Chanel with the best possible 24/7 care in the ICU, and treating her with the same care, compassion and consideration as you would your own pet. The days Chanel spent in the hospital were the hardest days of my life and the vets and vet techs eased my mind with their immense knowledge and empathy. Your team went above and beyond and I will never forget all you have done for us. I could not be more grateful. A special thank you to Dr. Mandy Liesenfeld And Dr. Victoria Krolczyk who diagnosed Chanel and provided her with the best possible care while in the ICU. I would definitely recommend this Veterinary office and appreciate all you have done for Chanel.

The team at Orchard Park is absolutely amazing. Our dog Chinook recently had cancer surgery here, and from start to finish, the care was exceptional. The staff were compassionate, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel supported and informed. The surgical team did an incredible job, and our fur-baby is now recovering well thanks to their expertise. We are so grateful for their dedication and the love they show to both pets and our family. Chinook is also a medical service dog and they understood how staying in a hospital away from us was very difficult for him . They took extra steps to reassure him and us , I’m truly grateful for their empathy and understanding . We came from Canada because of a very long wait time to get into oncology . Our speciality vet care is just as bad as our human health care in terms of wait times. The decision to drive over the border was the right one and we know Chinook is well cared for with a team of outstanding people around him. Thank you very much to everyone at the hospital , each one of you showed us love and helped us through the worst time in our lives . As a fur baby parent I know we were scared and emotional and you were able to feel our pain and guide us through with comfort and understanding . You were our rocks and we will never forgot how you changed our lives and validated our intense feelings 💕🙏🏻. You make this world better . Highly recommend! 🐶💙
