(from Google)Access path is challenging however the place is peaceful
It’s a beautiful area with lots of space to explore up and down the river. There are several spots where you can swim in. This particular spot there is a bit of a climb down which is extremely do able ( Some may not want to descend because of the terrain and rock terrain to walk down but do able for the average adult, explorer, and kids) Some bring there dogs with them as well. Extremely enjoyable and fun atmosphere! Water is deep enough to jump off into water near waterfall as seen in video. As always with caution jumping. 👍🏽👍🏽😎😎😊😊🫡🫡😁😁😁
We visited Charco Tres Palmitas as a favorite spot for locals. It was nice and very secluded away from the city. The road to get there is quite small so be careful driving.
Nice secluded watering hole. Water was clean and refreshing. The way down is by a abandoned house that has a old abandoned vehicle in the front. No direction of path. Wear water shoes with good soles. One of our kids was stung by a bee on the ground. Parking is off the road.
One of those places you drive by without been aware it's there. Found it on Google maps, stopped by and was not disappointed. This is not a review of Tres Palmas per se but an area close by. I couldn't find where to leave the car to walk to Tres Palmas, instead I drove a couple of minutes more and hiked down to some other pools. Cool isolated place.
