Ornbaun Ranch Kennels

I have a GSD who can be difficult. I love this place. He and the staff, treat my dog like their own. This is the only place I could ever trust someone to take care of my dog. Quality accommodations, quality food, above and beyond care. If you are looking for a good place to board your dog, look no further. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the amazing man who owns it. He feels like he could be everyone's dad.

Great, affordable kennel with knowledgeable and caring owner. Steve knows a lot about dogs and knows how to take care of their individual needs. He’s experienced with dogs who don’t board well and is attentive to their care. Couldn’t be happier with the price as well since boarding kennels are normally incredibly expensive.

Prior to dropping off my two fur babies, I was able to reserve a kennel and coordinate a date/time to drop them off 2 weeks in advance. They offer military discount which saved me a few extra dollars! Although the location is a few minutes out of my way, it was worth the drive. My babies were well fed and taken care of.

I boarded my dogs without checking the place beforehand. When I came to drop them off I was too anxious to leave my 3 dogs cause the place was far from what I expected according to their website. I trusted to sign up cause the ranch looks nice with the water and he is a dog trainer too. Kinda made me feel confident my dogs will be in good hands. Never saw Steve in person though I spoke with him on phone and he seemed nice. The caretaker I met at the boarding is also a nice man. Assured me my dogs will be taken care of. I was skeptic coz the kennel was wet and all the dogs there seemed to be uneasy barking too much. It was clean but wet. He said dogs won’t be walked. Would just stay on their cages. I felt bad for my dogs all 4 days I was on vacation. When I got them, they were thinner, obviously stressed. The youngest of them was too scared he was hiding under that platform were they sleep. I was relieved nothing is as bad as I am anxious of. I mean, they will keep your dogs, feed them & clean their kennels but your pets would feel like they’re in prison. I won’t go back even if they just mean business. I would look for more care & love for my babies.

The kennels are very nice and the dogs are adorable. The training is amazing. My puppy went and came back as a sweet, calm and cute pup.
