(from Google)This is a really good park, and meets some good standards. There's a nice covered space, along with picnic tables all around as well. The play structure is new and super good. Plus, there's a huge field for kids or dogs to play in. The only downside is that because the park is so good, and in such a good neighborhood, it's quite popular.
Cute park, could use some more walking/ running paths as it's very long grass so wear waterproof shoes if you plan to walk around it and a bathroom addition would be nice too. Nice large covered area with bbq's for groups. They have updated the playground equipment since I was here last and have a lovely fish mural. Baseball, basketball, swings, slides and even an area for 13+ kids with interesting new equipment I've never seen before. Very cool!
Stopped here on my way to Keizer Rapids dog park from Salem and decided to say it was a really nice park on a very hot day, 90°, it didn’t fill anywhere near that hot because it was big fields of grass and lots of large, overgrown trees for shade There were people here but no one was rowdy or made me feel uncomfortable, even though I was new to the park myself and here just with my little dogs. I was able to let my dogs off the leash in the field and let them run a little bit play ball and then relax in the shade under a big tree. I highly recommend this part.
Nice new play structure. Willamette River fish theme. Cushioned floor and multiple slides and swings. ADA There is a shaded park bench and picnic tables under a shelter. Large grass field for sports maintained. 1 out-house
This is a quite cozy park. My son has soccer practice here. I don't feel unsafe here like other parks I have been to. It has a play structure on one end of the park and there are outhouses if you need to go.. lol
