Brownsville Animal Clinic

Ordered heartworm medication after getting tested here. Kept getting declined by vet. When i called to see why it kept getting declined they told me I would have to get another heartworm test done because my dog had not been on HW medication since the test. Because they refused to fill prescription now i have to pay for another HW test. Go elsewhere, this facility is nasty anyways.

I'm changing my review after my most recent experience. I took my cat here due to having scabs on his ears. They took all of 1 min to inform me that it was skin cancer and the only 2 options were to surgically amputate both ears or put him down when it got bad enough. I left devastated. I went seeking a second opinion and was told to try a cheap medicine for parasites. Within a couple days the scabs started falling off and within 2 months he was normal again. If I had listened to this vet my cat would be disfigured or deceased. They declined to even comment when I followed up. Makes you wonder how many animals could have been treated and saved if they went somewhere else. Good luck coming here.

Amy is the best veterinarian in the valley. She's kind and she's very skilled. Our grumpy cat has to be anesthetized to do bloodwork, so the doctor uses light anesthesia for him, due to his advanced age. I trust her implicitly. Good vets are hard to find. We're so fortunate we found her.

I love bringing my doggo to the Brownsville clinic. Amy is wonderful and always answers all of my questions and concerns and always takes what's best for my furbaby to heart. The rest of the staff is super amazing and loving. My dog never has an anxiety attack when visiting here. He's always super excited to come and see everyone, even if he's getting shots and blood work done. Thank you for helping me keep my Handsome guy healthy and happy as he ages.

Axl loved going here. When the hard decision had to be made to euthanize, they were amazing with both of us. Prices, knowledge, friendly staff - all amazing. When/if I get another furbaby, I hope Dr. Amy will accept us. Small town vets are the way to go.
