My dachshund puppy has really developed well at Puppy Prep School over the last 4 weeks! It was an invaluable experience for her to be able to socialize while waiting for the vaccination schedule to complete. I felt like the team there was very hands on and observant, I loved getting reports on her progress as well. I'd highly recommend for new puppy parents!

The trainers are knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I was blown away by the level of individual attention the gave our puppy -- and his owners! Mac is a true dog whisperer and her team is phenomenal. We will have a better behaved puppy for life thanks to their support.

Our puppy Myles LOVED coming here!!! He was always so excited for class, and we loved getting to see him grow his confidence and manners over the weeks. We did the 3 day/week schedule for 4 weeks, and appreciated the flexibility as to which days we could bring him. Due to some travel, our 12 classes ended up spanning about 6 weeks and it wasn’t an issue at all. All the trainers knew Myles by name and greeted us with a smile each morning. Great team and program!!!

Thanks to the amazing trainers from the Dayschool and Puppy Fundamentals class, our goldendoodle Rosie has blossomed from a timid pup terrified of other dogs to a confident girl who loves all people and dogs! At 20 weeks, she’s stopped biting almost entirely too. We really loved the Parent Teacher Conferences where a knowledgeable trainer gave us tips to continue working on challenges specific to our dog at home. Puppy Prep overall is great at teaching owners new skills to reinforce the great training taught in the school. We felt empowered by the team in knowing how to deal with the biting, alone time whining, and most importantly socialization with other dogs. Looking forward to signing up for more advanced classes soon!

I’m not exaggerating when I say this is one of the most important businesses in the city. They’re ability to teach young pups - and their humans - how to exist safely and happily in this particular urban environment is a true service to every citizen. Mac, Erin and their team were spectacular when we first got our pup. He ended up getting quite sick before we were able to begin working with puppy prep and Erin was an incredible resource and support for us - she hadn’t even met our dog yet! She checked in every few days until he recovered, and was incredibly flexible in helping us adjust his start time and not miss critical socialization windows while he was tiny. We later continued with Outdoor Education - their “graduate program” - and it was incredible to learn from Ellie and Erin’s intuition. They understand dogs so well! He was very sad when it was finally time to move on - he loves them so so much (very much more than us…) Truly, our life with our dog would be dramatically different if it weren’t for puppy prep. We’re lucky they exist. There are no thanks sufficient enough.
