(from Google)The Heights does a great job using technology to communicate with you and remind you of your appointment. The front desk staff is warm and welcoming, the techs have been friendly and excited to see my puppy Brady and Dr. Hunter Barnes is not only friendly and knowledgeable, but easy to ask questions to as a first-time dog owner. She even helped with pet insurance recommendations. The cost for all services I have found to be reasonable and they always go over the costs of everything before proceeding so there’s no surprises.
edit to say; it’s been 2 weeks. The put more effort into responding to my review of their clinic than they did to ensure mazey was being taken care of. the response claims this is standard of care, it’s not. Pinellas Animal Hospital took care of Mazey same day, were not (and have never been) condescending, and prescribed her dewormed for CATS, this vet prescribed one for DOGS. also, no follow up communication has been attempted, no calls, messages, i’m not sure what they’re talking about. But go see PAH, i’ve never had anything negative to say about them (esp Dr. Craven🥰). First time seeing this vet, also the last. I was hopeful based on all the positive reviews, but was severely let down. My cat Mazey threw up live worms and I took her in to be seen. The vet seemed to not believe me when I said she’s strictly an indoor cat because “indoor cats don’t get worms.” I’ve messaged them online multiple times for follow up, as well as called and spoke with the receptionist who promised I’d hear back - never did. Staff are friendly, facility is clean and chic, waiting times were minimal. But at the end of the day, the care Mazey received (the only thing that actually matters) was severely lacking - she’ll now have a 40 minute drive one way to see her old vet in St. Pete so that she gets the care she deserves. Truly disappointed.
I am deeply grateful for the care and kindness shown by the entire team at Heights Vet Clinic. During an incredibly difficult moment, every interaction was handled with patience, warmth, and genuine compassion. The staff took the time to explain things clearly, never rushed the process, and treated both me and my pet with dignity and respect. What stood out most was how human the experience felt. It was clear that this is a team that truly cares, not just about medical outcomes, but about the emotional well-being of the families they serve. In moments of loss and uncertainty, that level of empathy matters more than words can express. Thank you for the professionalism, gentleness, and grace you showed. I will always appreciate the way you helped us through such a hard time.
The Heights Vet Clinic staff was absolutely amazing, professional, knowledgeable and very caring towards my pets needs. I’ve visited various Pet Clinic/Hospitals and found The Heights Clinic to be spotless, convenient, very detailed oriented by explaining my pets assessments and upcoming visits for surgery. They continue to communicate with me on a daily basis to ensure my pets personal health and wellbeing. I would definitely recommend The Heights Clinic for all your pets needs physically and emotional support. Thanks for being compassionate towards my pet (London) during such a stressful time.
I love the heights vet. Everyone there is wonderful with both people and animals alike. And they discuss and work with you on what's best for your animals including creative brainstorming. I completely trust the care of my pet partners (dogs and cats) with them. I like how much the staff cares about animals and are warm and friendly to their humans.
