(from Google)This place was packed! It took about 15 minutes to get a table. The food was very good, I enjoyed everything. I recommend the chicken and biscuits, and the coffee was good too. It was generally a five star experience, but I would say our service was a little disappointing. For the most part our waitress was nowhere to be found, and we even had to flag her down for more water. She never brought us the check so eventually we got up and paid at the counter. The hosts were great, the manager even bussed our table, and the ladies at the counter were super nice as well.
This diner was packed, yet we were seated quickly. Our waitress Chrissy was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. I was genuinely impressed by how fast our food came out, especially with how busy they were. The quality of the food was 10/10, absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this diner to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
One of our Tampa favorites. The large home cooked meals are sure to satisfy any appetite! We have been coming here for years and have tried different things off the menu and have yet to find something we did not like. The service is fantastic and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Don't forget to try one of the delicious cookies on the way out!
I recently visited Trip's Diner on N Florida Ave in Tampa, and it was a nice, straightforward experience. The diner has a casual, friendly vibe, and the staff made you feel welcome right away. I ordered a classic breakfast, and it was fresh, hot, and satisfying. The portions were generous, and the food had that comforting, homemade diner feel. It was easy to relax and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for a simple, hearty breakfast or lunch. I’d go back next time I’m in the area.
