(from Google)Tenderion: phenomenal! The service was so personable. Atmosphere: located just off the Broad Ripple trailhead. We sat outdoors people watching, enjoying good food, and great company. Definitely a reasonable place to take a date or meet up with friends!
We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Our waitress was so nice. The food was amazing. The fried green tomatoes were awesome. We will be back.
Reasonably priced and delicious! The two things we all want in a good meal out! Our waitress was slammed but still made points of stopping and asking if everything was going well and what we thought of the food. My husband had an Elderberry Sour drink that wasn't overwhelming alcohol. Then, I had the Dirty Mac & Cheese which was pulled pork with cavatappi noodles and creamy cheese sauce. My husband had fish and chips with a red cabbage slaw. We will definitely return as it was a wonderful dinning experience!
I came here for the fried green tomatoes, and they did not disappoint!!! All of the food was amazing, their signature sauce was so good. The fried green tomatoes were over the top soooo good. I cannot stop raving about them. The service was alright. Everyone was very friendly & nice. But we didn’t get refills & weren’t checked on the whole time until she brought us our check. There is only a few parking spots in front of the building, so be prepared to park on the side street and have to walk. But the food definitely makes up for it, will for sure be back!
I’m in Broad Ripple almost all the time but for some reason, I had never eaten at Fire by the Monon! I finally decided to make a stop recently. We came on a Friday at around 6 PM and they were a little busy but we got a table. Our waiter was SUPER friendly and gave us a lot of great menu recommendations. We started with the Pulled Pork Nachos as an appetizer. They were pretty good! As my entree, I got the Tenderloin sandwich with fries. Now what were my thoughts? It was decent. The breading was crispy but could’ve used a little more seasoning. The meat itself was a little dry but otherwise tasted good. The fries were good and their fry sauce on the side was decent! Overall, not a bad joint by all means! If you’re in Broad Ripple, this is a good spot to stop at. I’ll be back to try their flatbreads at some point!
