Folly Farm Nature Preserve

Wonderful family area for a nice stroll through the the Butterfly Gardens. It's so peaceful and quiet there. Birds galore and pollinators. Oh and I spotted a Hare too! I was there for an Eagle Scout project. I love the story behind this preserve. What a great way to bring the community together. I'll be back to visit.

I loved it. I took my granddaughter and she ran around and played. We walked the paths and explored the the gardens. There was actually a day camp going on so we had to wait to see the animals. Parts of the garden are becoming overgrown and a little neglected, but it is still a great place to go and relax

I can’t remember our tour guides name(sorry) but I snapped a few photos of him with my daughter and he is AMAZING! He has a very kind and gentle soul. He’s also extremely knowledgeable and was perfect with my four year old. His temperament was the best to have for this type of job. Thank you so much for your softness and grace, my family and I had an amazing time. It definitely helped with some of my depression. 🐐

May 23, 2026 Officially one of my favorite spiritual places. The energy here feels great. Love the peace I felt on the nature walk with Fletcher! Love the garden 🪴 flowers 🌺 birds 🐦 trees 🌳 and little gnomes throughout the property

We took my granddaughter there for her birthday which was all butterfly themed. There were butterflies everywhere the kids loved it and they ran all around and acted like kids are supposed to act. We had a wonderful day from start to finish and we ended up at the petting part of the farm and they were only supposed to be able to see two animals and they got to see all of them and they were so excited. The people there are wonderful, very good with children a fantastic time was had by all. Highly recommend
