The Southern Grill

First time I visited with my husband today, and my husband tried to order dukes brown ale and a whiskey sour, and guess what?! One of their staff was RUDE! And yet it ends up my husband gets a budiweiser, the whiskey sour is NOT GOOD! They serve it in a plastic cup! And it's 18 bucks! For 2 orders! We just leaved!

Omg the staff there is so tremendous and make you feel welcomed. They are so kind and give me my meal in a decent time. I was floored how good the food. Highly recommend anyone to try this bar.

If you don't care for Southern food, some food the sandwiches. The pastrami was out of this world! I loved the option to sit outside in the patio, because it was chilly inside. They were busy, but we didn't have to wait to long to be served. Blessings

Came upon this place by reviews as we parked our boat at Friendship park. A short walk from the park. As we walked in we were promptly greeted and orders are taken at the counter. We had to take a minute because the menu was extensive. She recommended the BBQ and burgers since that’s what she said they were famous for. Drinks are taken at the drink station with a soda fountain and sweet or unsweetened tea. They even have a coffee bar area on the opposite side. Food was delicious, my only critique was my fries were Luke warm on the verge of being cold. A lot of our group got the BBQ Pulled Pork Reuben Sandwich. She recommended getting it on garlic toast. I felt like a burger and got the Bacon Cheddar burger. We were all amazed how delicious the food was and mentioned coming back again.

This was our first time here. Seems like a nice restaurant. It has kind of a unique way about it. The ladies working were very nice, very helpful. The quality of the food was very good. Everything seemed fresh and well made. We would recommend this restaurant. It was a fun place to try. Lots of televisions for sports watching too.
