(from Google)Service is horrible. They all have an attitude like it’s one of those places where you go on purpose to be treated like crap. The staff has a chip on their shoulder, are rude and genuinely talk down to every person. This was not just my group but everyone. I’ve seen the older guy on the street in the neighborhood and it looked like he is just as pissed off on his days off as he is at work. Food took so long to come out, I ended up just leaving before it arrived.friends said it didn’t arrive for another 35 min. 1 hot dog and 1 pretzel. The place has the setup to move people through quickly, two cash registers, plenty of thirsty customers, and a very clear need for one more person behind the bar. Instead, there was one poor guy working the line like it was a casual neighborhood meet-and-greet, chatting with everyone while the rest of us slowly became part of the furniture. Waiting 45 minutes just to order a beer at a biergarten feels like a plot twist. At that point, I wasn’t sure if I was in line for a drink or trying to get a table at French Laundry. The beer was good once I finally got it, but please, for the love of lagers, add one more person to the bar. You already have the second register. Let it live its purpose.
We have a good time here, especially with their selection of beers. We went on a sunny, warm day, and it was a perfect spot to relax. They offer lots selection of German beers on tap, and I recommend getting the large size!
Biergarten is a truly atmospheric spot right in the heart of San Francisco. The place captures an authentic German vibe - communal tables, lively energy, and that unmistakable beer garden spirit. The food is delicious, perfectly paired with an excellent selection of German beers that are fresh, flavorful, and served the way they should be. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy great company, and feel transported straight to Europe without leaving the city. If you’re looking for a fun, authentic experience with great food and outstanding beer, Biergarten is a must-visit.
I don’t know if you’ve ever had a perfect pour, but on January 30 at 6:24 pm I had a very nice and handsome gentleman pour me the perfect beer. Will I ever forget this moment? No. Will I highly recommend this place to others? Yes.
$13 for a small sausage, fried frozen fries, and a dallop of curry. I mean... The sausage was good but it seems way over priced. The curry was good. It tasted almost like worchestershire sauce curry. If you're into alcohol, I think you should stick to that but the rest of the menu is overpriced for okay food. It's good quality but not special.
