(from Google)We enjoy this restaurant and their wide selection of both food and adult beverages. They have recently updated the menu which was a nice surprise. Our favorite from here is the cheese curds. These are always fresh and delicious. We also enjoy the salads and flatbreads. The restaurant is large with a large patio and can accommodate any size group. Their staff is always a pleasure and we enjoy talking to them. This is a great place to go for a casual sit down meal!
Great indoor or outdoor vibe, fabulous scratch kitchen, nice selection of spirits & zero proof cocktails, friendly service, incredible desserts. The spicy fried cauliflower appetizer is FIRE! Gotta try it!
My bestie and I came here to enjoy a mom's night out. It was incredibly busy and had to wait about 20 minutes and then placed on the patio. Our visit was during September and the misters were going full speed but we were getting more wet then we had liked. Our server was very nice but speed was not her strength. The patio was dead because not many wanted to sit out there. We waited a bit to be greeted and to get waters to start. They have a regular menu and a seasonal menu. It will take time to look it over check it out online first of you are indecisive. We landed on starting with the spicy tuna roll and the spicy fried cauliflower. The tuna roll was basically and disappointing I've had better from the frys sushi bar. We did enjoy the cauliflower and the sauce used they were cooked really well. For our mains we ordered the green chili chicken and avocado club and my friend ordered a salad. It took a while for our food to come out we understand being busy there is a wait but we are certain they forgot our order as the server came over and asked about our meal and we told her we were still waiting. The food presentation ot beautiful but the food isn't worth the wait. Not bad overall experience but not rushing to come back either. There should be something here for anyone in your group to find to eat which is nice.
We had Kim as our server tonight and were blown away with the service and the food and drinks! The seasonal autumn bowl was delicious, the pickle spears are top fried pickles we’ve had, the poke stack was fresh and perfectly portioned. ALL of the drinks were worth ordering another. The cherry on top was our server though, Kim exceeded expectations and was extremely knowledgeable and attentive.
I’ve wanted to try Thirsty Lion for some time, but for some reason or another it has been too busy, plans change etc until this weekend when we found ourselves at Desert Ridge. We stopped in for an early dinner which worked out because we were greeted and seated right away in a booth. The restaurant was clean and beautiful. The bar was large and plenty of TVs. We weren’t drinking so opted for eager and fountain drinks this go round. The menu I wouldn’t say is huge, but has some great options. We decided to start with the bacon wrapped bbq shrimp. It came out pretty quick and was delicious. Pretty filling in my opinion. The sauce has a nice flavor to it. For our main courses we chose the spicy chicken sandwich with a side salad and the gochujang bbq pork with kimchi fried rice . I was impressed with how soon everything came out. Unfortunately I was bummed with the sandwich. It was not even remotely spicy, bread was soggy quick and couldn’t really taste any other flavors of the slaw etc. It was very bland and I don’t think I would order it again. However the friend rice was delicious. I almost made my Gianna’s grade with me ha ha. The bbq pork had a great kick. I took his leftovers home for myself lol . Service was great. The parking lot is chaos especially in the weekend. Can be difficult to get back out to the highway of wanting to go west. All in all though I’d come again.
