(from Google)I came here to celebrate my birthday and unfortunately left very disappointed. The atmosphere was just okay—nothing special—but the food really missed the mark. We ordered wings and they were extremely bland. The lemon pepper wings were especially bad; they tasted like plain wings tossed in mustard and pepper, which was honestly unpleasant. The salmon was the only good dish we had, but the pasta was also under-seasoned and lacked flavor. What made the experience worse was the service. Our server was not friendly and kept giving us up-and-down looks, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. As the only people of color in the restaurant, it was hard not to feel judged or treated differently, which is unacceptable—especially when you’re there to celebrate something special.
Rein Osteria Rein Osteria offers a simple yet inviting atmosphere from the moment you walk in. We visited for lunch with a group of six friends and were seated quickly without much of a wait or need for a reservation. We began with appetizers and cocktails — the drinks were perfectly balanced, and the food was both flavorful and well-prepared. The quality exceeded expectations for the price point, and the service was prompt, courteous, and attentive throughout our meal. Our group enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the Ribeye, New York Steak, Mac & Lobster, and a Poke Bowl. Each plate was nicely presented and cooked to perfection. We finished with dessert and Lavazza coffee, which provided a wonderful ending to our dining experience. Overall, Rein Osteria delivers excellent food, great value, and warm service. We look forward to returning in the evening to enjoy the dinner atmosphere.
Upbeat chill sophisticated atmosphere. We opted for the full bit from appetizers to dessert. Appetizers were ok, the calamari came with peppers and onions, so not traditional, making them ok. The stuffed classic clams were spicy and I would not order them again, it was a bite of peppers and stuffing vs the clam. The ribeye and ny strip steaks were delightful, along with the potatoes and sides. The tuna poke bowl was yummy!! Drinks: from martinis to house specials were yummy!
Our servers were incredibly accommodating, patient and kind, even on a busy Saturday night. This is a middle of the line spot in terms of formality - fancy plating and chandeliers alongside simple farmhouse digs and TVs at the bar. My family was raving about their food and they absolutely loved it. The brussels sprouts were delicious and had incredible flavor and a unique twist but I wish they were a tad crispier. We will definitely be back!
What a beautiful restaurant. Their menu has a wide selection sure to please all taste buds and if you’re a horse lover, this place is most definitely for you with its well placed art and decor. The view of the water across the street just adds to the open, airy and peaceful setting. Our waitress was phenomenal. Had the calamari, crabcake, New England clam chowder, beet salad, fish and chips, and scallop with couscous dishes, and it was not only plentiful, but extremely delicious as well. Highly recommend.
