(from Google)As a 100% Service Connected Veteran considered totally disabled I do not recommend this location due to the price for classes being way higher than other accredited locations for Service Dog Training, when you are providing and boarding your own dog. Also did not appreciate bred discrimination displayed. When the company never met my puppy, or inquired about my knowledge on Training and temperament she automatically told me my dog could not be trained due to high prey drive. I have a Husky, Huskies are bred to be working dogs. One must met the animal to see if the temperament is right. Can't judge a dog solely on bred. That was unprofessional in my opinion. Would have been ok if she met my dog and saw through an evaluation that she wasn't good for training. But to make an assumption based on bred; makes me feel less confident in her effort or ability to train dogs based on social gossip surrounding the bred. There's way cheaper, and even free programs for Veterans. Some even give you a dog. Note any dog can have a high prey drive. Training starts while they are young.
Cheryl and her daughter are amazing! I have a Border Collie Kobe, that is super energetic. She showed me ways for him to have good manners when people walk in and how to teach him patience. we adopted another dog Maggie, and they she is a resource guarder. They showed us techniques that we can use so she can get more along with my other dog and not be so territorial. My dogs get along so well now and they have become a great pack, and Cheryl showed me that things will be ok and things will work out. We took our dogs for dog daycare one day there and they were exhausted when they came back. Taking them back to board them a couple days with her while on vacation and we know they will be in great hands!
Cheryl did an amazing job with my dog Nero! I got him maybe a week and a half ago and he tore up my blinds. Nero kept getting out of his cage and so I contacted the lady who helped me adopt Nero and she put me in touch with Cheryl. I never met her before and didn’t know she was a dog trainer until I met her 5 days ago. She explained to me that he had the worst separation anxiety she has ever seen. She worked with him and worked with him with updates on how he was doing and I recently got Nero back from training… A totally different dog. She is an amazing trainer and she is the one and only trainer I would prefer to anyone. Thank you so much!!
Completely trustworthy and so incredibly skilled! I was referred by a friend who absolutely loved her experience boarding her dog with Cheryl. I was also totally impressed with the care my dogs have received. It was like they were home while away from home. Once I began working with Cheryl to train, it was like night and day. Problem behaviors were literally extinguished in one visit. I'm now beginning the process of training my pup for service. I have no doubt it will also be a wonderful experience. She is so intuitive and skillful, I just can't imagine my dog with any other trainer.
Cheryl is awesome! I had behavioral problems with my dog after the last place I had him boarded (someone else). Completely different experience with Cheryl Lee. Ranger came back happy and zero behavioral problems he actually has been the best boy! I don’t know if it was her dogs helping him learn how to be socially, or if she done some advanced training with him while we were away?! But he loved it there! She also would text us pictures of him while we were gone. I loved getting the updates. I also, recently had a training session for manners with other dogs. She taught me what and how I should work with him. Great training!! You can really tell she loves her job and dogs!
