Care Animal Clinic - Urgent & Wellness Care (Open 7 Days)

I went in very nicely to ask if they could send our veterinary records to our new vet. I gave the girl at the counter a page with all the details and she snapped yeah once the doctors have ‘approved it’ they will. She was very curt and short. I asked when would that be as my dog was having issues and I needed to see our new vet and they were waiting on the records and she repeated ‘when they can…..they are busy She was so rude Firstly they don’t have to approve anything that is a lie. I understand the doctor must make sure all the records are there but they are our medical records and this girl was clearly irritated and inferred we would have to wait for approval and when they were not busy. Secondly, just epitomizes my experience there and her rudeness was exactly why we were leaving…..what i experienced was not patient focused, clearly with her dismissal of my request and my dog needing to see the new specialist - felt like another business system………..very disappointing! I did ring back and explain what happened and one of the staff members was very helpful and polite. Shame he wasn’t in reception when I went in with my request. Really who you hire has a huge impact on your business. We should not be treated this way. It’s not acceptable.

It's great that they're open 7 days a week almost until 8 pm most days. We all know pet emergencies happen when you least want them. Dr. Kumar and Dr. Sunni are great about solving pet issues as they arise, and we've been happy with their care. Dr. Kumar discovered my dog's collapsed trachea (the dog was always choking, throwing up, and had periodic heavy panting). The discovery helped Sammy as he's now on an almost daily dose of Cerenia, and we leave pillows near his spots that he likes to rest, so he can prop his head and stretch out what remains of his narrow trachea. We feel comforted by the awareness of his problem and the medical intervention.

We started taking our 3 cats to this clinic after our beloved vet retired from VCA Boulder Terrace. Care Animal Clinic came recommended and is very close to our home. Dr. Kumar has been our primary vet, is very knowledgeable and has given our boys excellent care. The clinic has worked us in whenever we've needed an appointment and the vets and vet techs have all shown compassion and concern for our boys. Last night, our kitten was treated by a rotational vet who was in for Dr. Fauley. She also was very compassionate and focused on getting our kitten back on his feet (he had hurt his paw.)

Care Animal Clinic holds up to their name “Care” the office is clean, staff is professional and caring. Dr. Sunny is knowledgeable, empathetic, and communicative. The staff has strong clinical skills as well. Besides the wellness care with our two dogs Dr. Sunny did teeth cleaning with Zeus very well recovery afterwards. Simba, was diagnosed with pancreatitis back in June after a successful treatment plan he had a miracle recovery. During this time with testing we also learned Simba was diabetic. With Simba‘s evaluation, proper treatment plan was put in place for his glucose level. Simba is doing better than ever. Overall, we are very grateful for Dr. Sunny and his staff. Every treatment plan with our dogs was very successful. Where does Care Animal Clinic shine besides everything mentioned above from start to finish? Back in August when we were traveling Simba was about 90 percent recovered they asked for us to give pet boarding their contact information in an event anything was to happen. Our two fur babies is in great care with Care Animal Clinic! Thank you!

Wonderful, caring, clean, professional and kind animal care at Care Animal Clinic on 87th and Modaff… thank you so much Dr. Sunny for seeing our sweet girl this evening, last minute and helping to ease our minds that it was nothing serious! Pet parents need more places that are available when trouble arises, b/c we all know those horrific situations when waiting at the ER vet take HOURS! Not only does Care Animal Clinic have the MOST amazing hours of service that work for those with busy schedules… but they will make sure to never turn an animal away when in need. All they ask is that you call ahead and they will discuss your situation over the phone to determine next steps. They are open 7 days a week… and will even take an emergency situation without the emergency cost 💰. Regular vet visit price plus whatever has to be done!
