Today our family lost our beloved dog, Reese, and I felt it was important to recognize the compassion shown by Dr. Chambers. It was a Saturday and every clinic we called turned us away. Dr. Chambers office was closed, yet when we called he immediately met us at the clinic without hesitation. He did everything he could to try to save our sweet girl. What stood out even more than his medical care was the way he treated our entire family. Our children were heartbroken, and he showed us such kindness, patience, and reassurance throughout the entire process. He treated Reese with dignity and treated our family like we mattered. Pets are family. In one of the hardest moments a family can experience, Dr. Chambers showed compassion that we will never forget. We are deeply grateful for the effort he made for Reese and the respect he showed our family during such a painful time. Thank you, Dr. Chambers for caring not only for animals, but for the people who love them.

I have only been a client of Simmons Harlan for a couple months, but have had to use their emergency vet twice for my senior dogs. These people are a Godsend. I am so grateful to have found them. Reasonable approach, no pressure to make hasty decisions, kind compassionate and very knowledgeable. Sometimes you just need a calm voice of reason, and they are always there fot that. And the availability of after hours care is absolutely priceless! Thank you Dr Chambers and Dr Pruitt for caring for my beloved fur babies. This town needs you.

What a fast response. My poor dog Odin Tyson did something to his hip. He was hurting badly and was not happy. It was Friday night and no-one in town would help. We called everyone. We almost were going to drive to Bowie, but recieved a call from Travis and said" no, come now". All the other places we called said," if your animal doesn't come, here we wont take you". Awww wait!!!??? You took an oath to help all animals, they should have their licenses taken. That is not what they promised when they received their license. Well Travis took real good care for our baby and he is on the mend. Why take your animal anywhere else? These are caring people who put the animal first, and their prices are very fair. Thanks Travis for you kind caring heart. Bringing our cat in for a visit and their now our new vet for all our babies.

We Have had excellent experience with Simmons & Harlan Vetenary for all 4 of our dogs and two donkeys. We are extremely great full for the care they provide.

Very caring staff ❤️ They took excellent care of my Romeo and were so compassionate when it was time to say goodbye to him. The ER service is great. Dr Pruitt is amazing. Juliette likes the staff. They are all so nice
