(from Google)They helped save my cat's life after possible poisoning, keeping her hospitalized for 2 days and then for a separate incident a couple days later. The Doctors were good about keeping me updated on how she was doing and even let me visit her. She's had a rough few weeks but we're resting easier now with her being back home and healthy thanks to this hospital being open and available 24/7. I'm so glad this place is nearby. Dr Cruz was especially thorough, communicative and caring. Eric at the front desk was also helpful and kind during both our visits. Really, everyone I came in contact there was just great.
Glad to have this 24/7 emergency vet nearby. They did some procedures my regular vet couldn't perform on my last dog, & just recently saved my new dog's life when she got into something toxic. They overestimated how much it would be, but refunded me the price difference. They're caring & thorough. Clean facilities.
I came here at midnight for my cat that had been throwing up non stop and refused to eat or drink. They were unable to give me a wait time over the phone but the emergency vet here in Ventura said 8 hour wait so I took my chances. They had me in and out within 3 hours. They checked my babies vitals, took X-rays, gave her nausea treatment and hydration. They were super kind and caring. Took the time to listen to all of her history, and made sure I understood what was being done, what it meant, and what it would cost. I left the house in such a rush that I forgot my wallet and they were still able to take payment with just the numbers of the card. I received an itemized receipt for insurance without asking. I also think it’s a nice touch that they have an exit to the parking lot that doesn’t go through the lobby, in case you’re a wreck like I was. I was so grateful for their entire team especially so late at night and I know where I’ll be taking my babies if I ever have an emergency again.
Late Friday night we found our beloved golden retriever awake but unresponsive. We rushed him to VSEC and we were met by a very knowledgeable and compassionate team! They shared clear options and potential diagnoses, and steps moving forward. They didn’t pressure us into any decisions; they gave us time and space to figure out what to do. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
I am so grateful to the staff at VSEC. As soon as we walked in the staff was able to gather information and begin helping Winnie. Winnie is a rescue and can be afraid of new people, unfamiliar sounds, and unfamiliar environments. The staff took extra care to decrease her anxiety in any way they could. When we picked Winnie up I could tell Winnie had gained confidence in the environment and some of the staff. I really appreciate that they went the extra mile to help Winnie not only get treated but to trust the staff a bit more. She is back home and back to her spunky happy self!
