I bought a bird cage and some accessories, and overall the experience was decent. The staff helped me check sizes properly before purchase, which I appreciated. One cage had a minor scratch, and I noticed it before leaving, so they replaced it without discussion. The shop layout is slightly cramped, especially near the bird section, but still manageable. It’s not the fanciest place, but they handle issues quickly and don’t make things complicated when something goes wrong.

Walked in on a whim and found our puppy that we have been searching for! He is amazing and the customer service was amazing. To the point, straight up pricing and very very happy with our puppy!

Honest things no one tells you about this place: 1. Prices are high (1,700-4,000/puppy) if that works for you awesome! If you’re looking for a more affordable puppy do not recommend. 2. You have a 2 puppy interaction limit so choose wisely who you want to interact with because you will fall in love. 3. They do have financial options (you must qualify) 4. All the puppies are adorable and well taken care of so you will fall in love and want to adopt them all. My husband and I unfortunately didn’t walk out with one but we almost convinced ourselves we’d drop 1k on a puppy.

I love my dog. I bought her two years ago. She's an emotional support animal for my mother and her best friend. I didn't have any issues with purchasing her, and the owners were kind and informative. The store was clean, spotless clean. Yes, the puppies are in glass cages, but they're clean. Kennel cough is highly contagious, so please, whenever you purchase a puppy, through a breeder, through adoption , or a local store, take your new friend to the vet to be vaccinated. I believe the glass is to prevent the spread of this infection. I took Drama to the vet immediately to have her vaccinated and checked for kennel cough, she was healthy. Here she is at 2 years old. **There are a lot of 1 star reviews from people who don't like dogs being sold at a pet store. It's not an actual experience with the store. If they didn't buy a puppy, their opinion of the store doesn't matter to me. Also, if you don't like this sort of establishment, why are you entering the building in the first place? That doesn't make sense to me.

After reading several reviews of the Texas Puppy Store, I felt the need to share our experience. My husband had specific things he was looking for in a dog. We looked all over and decided to stop here just to see what it was about. He fell in love right away. The puppy was more expensive than we planned, but they did have financing that we chose to do. The owner helped us with everything. We were provided with AKC registration and microchip paperwork. He answered all our questions and the girls were so nice. I did not give 5 stars only because of the price. *update* it's been almost a year and he is the best dog we've ever had. Never been sick or any issues. He's so naturally well behaved. We are so lucky to have him in our lives.
