What a great pup place. The staff are great with our guy Sawyer. Staff seem to know all the dogs names and they always open the door for everyone leaving. Cleanliness is spot on and the pups are returned to happy as can be. Once home they seem to be tired and knock out for an hour or so. Thanks!

We’ve used Kountry Kennels for overnight boarding, day camp, grooming and training. Our dog LOVES going to play and gets excited as soon as we drive up. The employees are amazing, even super early in the morning for drop-offs, they’ve been accommodating when I picked Ivy up early from a long weekend stay, and Addie is AMAZING with training! Although Ivy has regressed a bit with her puppy behavior, we know it’s the lab in her. We’d recommend Kountry Kennels to any of our friends looking for a responsible and caring facility for their pets!

KPR WOW!!!! We are beyond grateful to Kristen, Dennis, and every single member of the KPR team (I wish I knew all of your names!). Each of you goes above and beyond in caring not only for our dogs, but for all the dogs, cats, and even fish entrusted to you. When we first brought our dogs, we were nervous because one of them had some challenges. But you all took the time, patience, and love to truly get to know them. Because of that, both of our dogs have become the most gentle, happy companions we could ever hope for. Now, whether we drop them off for a stay or for playtime, we have zero worries. We know they are safe, loved, and cared for—never once fearing we’ll get a call to “come pick up your dogs.” Everyone at KPR is simply amazing—so loving, caring, and dedicated. And when we pick up our pups, they come home content and ready for a good, long sleep, which says it all. From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for coming into our lives. We love you all! We just got our dog back after completing their 10 day lodge and learn program with Addie and I am so grateful and happy with the results. This was his second round. The first program was at a place in Marengo and nothing really changed plus they trained too much with food rewards. Addie does not use treats in her training method so now Kylo is looking at us, paying attention, and working for us instead of for a treat. Not only is he better behaved and knows commands, his personality is really shining through. I was able to lie next to him for the first time today and he took a nap. I have never seen this dog relax enough to take a nap. I was able to walk him by myself and actually enjoyed our walk for the first time. We have repairmen coming and going from the house and he just stands in front of me and doesn’t bark and is not reactive to these strangers. This training has unlocked so much of his potential and we are really able to enjoy him so much more. Before he went to Addie, it was like having to constantly keep one eye on him like a toddler. Now I don’t need to be so stressed that he’s going to misbehave and I can trust him. The investment is worth it and it is life changing.

We’ve used this place twice. One for a short term (3 or 4 days) and once recently for a 2 week stay. The facility is lovely and everything went super smoothly for the short stay. Staff is friendly. After picking our dog up from the two week stay- I’m a bit worried. Our 55 lb dog- her perfect weight- came back to us at 47 lbs. She had some other signs of stress- dry nose, limp (not too worrying for an active dog that likes to play), and was super lethargic/tired. Most dogs are overweight. Most dog people overfeed, it’s easy to do. Our dog is short haired and slender. Losing 7-8 lbs on a dog like this is not hard to see. I’m not sure how it escaped the whole team’s notice. Her hip bones and ribs were visible. Some dogs are just stressed when out of their environment. When I adopted this dog, I was working at a dog day care in Seattle (which is why I don’t love writing this review). For 1.5 years I brought my dog to daycare. She’s been boarded multiple times at 3 different facilities. It could have been the length of time. But it just seems unlikely to me. In a nutshell- For short stays fine. For longer stays, I just won’t feel safe or good about coming here again. If you are going to use this place for a long stay- maybe just bring your own food and tell them to give them more than what they get at home.
