Cat Thyroid Center

They took excellent care of my hyperthyroid cat for her Iodine treatment. 2 months later, her thyroid is back to a normal level. Chailee is so helpful and communicative and has walked me through everything post treatment. Thank you so much!

Although Daryl was amazing when we did my cat's first treatment here (he checked in with me regarding Bella's status every day and facetimed me), I don't quite have faith in the new updated center. They are opening again in March. The ($2,000) radiotherapy didn't work on my cat (which is fine, that sometimes happens). My personal vet coordinated with them and it was my understanding the Cat Thyroid Center would reach out to discuss what that might look like - but I just received a very short email asking if I wanted to pursue retreatment. It seemed indifferent and lacked intentional communication which bothered me a bit - this is not a small decision to pursue I-131 radiotherapy. Additionally, this center only offers a 20% discount for your second treatment if needed. I believe Blue Pearle has a set standard of a 50% discount if treatment is needed again (so you may want to consider that when deciding where to go for radiotherapy treatment). Lastly, although the vet that is overseeing the center is not in office often, hopefully that changes soon - so perhaps you can give them a chance there with that! Sadly, I am not sure that I would recommend this center anymore. Proceed with caution when bringing your kitties here

My sweet Peaches was suffering from hyperthyroidism for over 2 years, not only the symptoms of the disease but also the toxic side effects of the medication prescribed to control them. I learned of the Cat Thyroid Treatment center and how they have helped numerous other cats with the disease from our Veterinarian who recommended the I 131 treatment. From the initial phone conversation till the end of her treatment I have nothing but positive praise and encouraging words for others who may be considering the treatment. Peaches had her 1 month bloodwork done and is now completely normal/healed of the thyroid disease as well as liver and kidney function returning to normal levels. We are so grateful and overjoyed to share our experiences and most importantly Peaches clean bill of health. Thank you to all for helping her regain a clean bill of health .

I can’t say enough good things about this place that we choose to bring our girl “,Jewel” for the radioactive Iodine Therapy .We had a great experience and it’s because of Daryl Thomas ,the operational Manager who made this very tense of the unknown he made it so much better for us and our girl!! He explained the process very well and went through the process and he went way & beyond & gave us daily updates with pictures ,allowed us to FaceTime plus being able to visit her . I was very skeptical because I didn’t know much about this option and being in cat rescue so many tried to talk me out of it and scare us because they don’t know about it either . After researching and talking to some of my cat rescue friends who had brought their cats here gave me such great information !! Then we met Daryl Thomas and he put our fears to rest and Jewel did great !!He is phenomenal ! If you’re thinking about this procedure I’d highly recommend it !! My girl is cured and I’m so grateful we did this and you will be extremely happy if you choose this option! If we ever have another kitty w/ hyperthyroidism we’d do this again! 🩷

The Cat Thyroid Center earned from us a big 5-star review.They took such great care of my kitty Niusia. Daryl was amazing!!! He deserves 10-stars.He sent me updates on Niusia's condition and pictures of her every day.He even sent me a video showing our little girl. He was so patient with all of my questions and concerns. He told us before Niusia was admitted that they try to keep as low as possible stress level for cats patients. And, I could tell that it was 100% true. Our kitty basically started playing 2 minutes later after we brought her home. You wouldn't even tell that she was separated from us and her home for a week. She was totally relaxed with zero anxiety. My husband and I started joking that she came back from vacation :) We absolutely recommend this place if you need i 131 radiotherapy for your kitty!!!
