(from Google)I am very impress. Very aesthetically pleasing. Safe for friends and family. A modern, well-designed park with wide open space and strong upkeep. The environment feels structured yet relaxed, making it ideal for walking, light exercise, or quiet outdoor time. It has a steady, family-friendly energy without feeling chaotic.
Absolutely Gorgeous Park! Bonnie Park is an absolute gem. The entire area is gorgeous, beautifully maintained, and offers a perfect blend of activity and relaxation. What makes this place stand out is the fantastic combination of water views and outdoor exercise equipment. It is incredibly refreshing to get a quick workout in right by the water front. After exercising, there is nothing better than finding a spot to lie down in the grass, soak in the great weather, and just unwind. Whether you are looking to break a sweat or just clear your mind and relax in nature, this park is the perfect escape. Highly recommend checking it out!
When l pulled up with all 7 of my foster children immediately started screaming with excitement l could even park our Denali. We actually walked to the other parks nearby and stayed for over hours. People and their children were friendly especially on the zipline. The adults were helping all the children on the zipline l found very nice and kind. This place is a 10.
I go here almost daily. Very well-kept, and many activity options. There is a crew there on a daily basis to maintain facilities and keep the grounds tended. There are two dog parks, two restroom locations, two play areas, a lacrosse field, a pond, wonderful trails, and a fitness court.
Bonnie Wenk Park is a solid spot for getting outdoors in McKinney. The walking trails are well-kept, and the creek views are peaceful. I appreciated the dog park section — it’s spacious and has separate areas for large and small dogs. Overall, it’s a decent park with good potential, but could use some improvements to really shine.
