They dont have a kitchen but if you follow them in Facebook you will see when they have food trucks. Great drinks and great people. Many activities thru out the week, which are posted on Facebook as well. They even have a beer garden at the back. Fur babies are welcome.

Great local spot in downtown Conover! The owners are extremely personable and they have food trucks from Thursdays-Saturdays.

What a great place to stop and grab a brew or 2. Julie and AJ put forth a HUGE effort to perform a great makeover on what used to be a small repair garage. The colors and decor are perfect. They had a couple of great domestic beers on tap along with a huge list of craft beers reasonably priced! There is an area along side of the bar with tables (huge wooden spools) to stand around and talk or you can move into the backyard to sit at some picnic tables with a great sound system! Considering that they had only opened 1 week earlier they definitely had their ducks in a row! You will not be disappointed! This will easily be one of our go to's! Fun games to play and dog and kid friendly!

This is a great place to hang! My wife and I went for a date night and had a great time. I’m all about more small businesses opening in the Conover/Newton/Hickory area. It’s our job to go out and support them. Definitely check this place out!

Schwarzbar Ale House is an absolute gem in Conover- and likely to be a catalyst for community connections! Their small, boutique wine list is impressive, and the wide array of German beers instantly transported me back to Europe. Even if beer isn’t your thing, they’ve got a fantastic selection of seltzers and infused beverages—something for everyone. Every detail inside carries the charm and rustic-coziness of Germany, making it such a unique and welcoming spot. The owners AJ and Julie are so very friendly and genuinely make you feel arrived. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great drinks and authentic atmosphere right here in our community!
