Sylvan Beach Park

I really enjoyed visiting Sylvan Beach Park. My children absolutely loved it! The weather was quite humid, but the warm atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made it worth the visit. It's a great place for families to relax, have fun, and enjoy a day by the water. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

This location is lovely for a picnic. It offers amenities for swimmers, including showers. Lifeguards are present in the vicinity. Admission and parking are complimentary.

Went here for a fleet week event and it was pretty fun. They had a shuttle that took us from the high school to the event and took us back to the parking lot when we were done. We spent about an hour and a half here. We went to the museum afterwards.

Had the most beautiful, chill day at Sylvan Beach celebrating my mom’s birthday 💛 Being able to sit by the water, feel the sand under our feet, and just breathe without the big crowds (yes—so nice not having to go all the way to Galveston 😅) made it extra special. They’ve got a great playground, fishing spots, plenty of picnic tables, and grills—perfect for a laid-back family day. Grateful for moments like this with the people I love most 🤍

Scene at Sylvan beach is amazing to see cargo ships being powerhouses! Beachfront houses are so cool to see and there also a fish and tackle store thats really convenient. Water wasn't safe to be in but it was cold anyway.
