Three weeks ago my wife and I took our three Chihuahua puppies (Porky, Peanut, and Prissy) to Stones River Veterinary Hospital for a full day's worth of treatment (spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchips, nail trims, and dental - Peanut had a lot of baby teeth pulled). Time has flown, and I just realized that we hadn't thanked the staff at Stones River for their wonderful service and compassionate care. We had traveled in from out of state for a separate appointment and were staying at a hotel in town. Although we knew Dr. Jennings before she started working at Stones River (she saw our last four furry babies: Mikey, Missy, Milo and Felix) we were still quite nervous about how our puppies were going to fare through it all. We had lots of questions and concerns from the beginning, but everyone at Stones River was so professional and polite. They answered all of our questions, provided us with sound recommendations, and made sure we knew what to do when we returned home. But most importantly, they took great care of our little fur babies. So, I'd like to give some well-deserved shoutouts to the following people: - Darcy (Reception/Boarding), who greeted us with a big smile and helped us bring in the pups. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. And we're not just saying that because she's our daughter. We're saying that because that's the kind of person she is. - Adam (Technician), who performed the intake when we first arrived. He was extremely thorough and was able to answer a lot of our questions, which helped to ease our minds quite a bit. - Lindsey (Technician), who brought our pups out and made sure we understood all of the aftercare instructions. She was very personable, polite, and thorough. - Dr. Jennings (Veterinarian), who blocked off almost an entire day to perform the surgeries on our puppies. She did a fantastic job making sure Porky, Prissy, and Peanut were well taken care of, and she kept us informed of their progress throughout the day. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we are grateful for Dr. Jennings and her staff. It seems the only thing we had to worry about was how to keeps the pups from taking each other’s cones off 😂

We had our first appointment today at Stones river veterinary Hospital. I’m not one to make reviews on Google, but this one’s too good To pass up. My sweet pup who is Five years old has never really had a positive experience within the vet industry. Which makes her extremely timid and fearful when we go into the vets office. Which any dog is fearful and timid, but she is extra afraid I will sometimes even growl At the doctors in the past. She was very afraid at first, but the super sweet nurse And doctor made her feel so comfortable and loved that by the end of the visit even after getting a shot, She was wagging her tail, happy as can be and had smiles from ear to ear! This made my dog mama heart very happy! We will forever use Stones River veterinary Hospital!! I couldn’t recommend them more! Thank you for loving my girl like your own!

All of the staff here is so friendly, from front desk to the vet techs & veterinarians. My husband took our new pup here and had a lot of questions. I appreciated the time they took to answer his questions and guide us in the right direction for training. They also gave him a cute puppy bag with educational printouts and treats. Rollo especially loved the bone they gave him.

What a great place!! My dog is calm, I'm calm. No one is pressuring me to buy expensive treatments. I love this vet. So thankful to have found them!

This is just a BUSINESS, they could care less if your animal was on it's dying breath. They have used my Yogi, who has liver disease as a CASH COW since he finally got diagnosed by an internal medical specialist. They weren't competent enough to find or diagnose the liver disease. He went years and was on the brink of death when they discovered the disease. Been with them since he was a puppy Most recently they attempted to charge me $1200 for a certicate of health. This was just insult to injury. STAY FAR AWAY. I've been with them for 5 years. They're incompetent and a total rip off. The only reason I kept going there was for Yogi. I kept going so he didn't have to acclimate anywhere else. Even sent them a card on his birthday every year. Smh..
