The Cool Dog Country Club

My dog willow just got training from cool dog and charlie was amazing. Shes a very high energy dog with absolutely no impulse control and he sprinkled all his magic on that. He's great at making it fun for them and for you when you get them back to know how to keep the training going. Highly recommend!

What a horrible experience. I have a miniature dachshund and I wanted to arrange daycare and boarding for her. She has gone to K9 resorts in Mt Pleasant for years, but we moved closer to Summerville (I highly recommend K9!) ahead of time I made the “meet and greet “ appointment. The day came, it’s pouring rain! I have filled out the pages and pages of electronic documents and sent in vaccine and vet info. I verified they were received and the date and time for our first visit. We get out in the rain and drive, arriving a few minutes early. I call the number posted…. The most rude person answered, I explain what I am here for, he blows in to the phone, clearly put out by my call…. And says “ your appointment is not until next weekend! Now I have to go” and he hung up the phone. I tried to call back to let him know. I have a copy of the email verifying my appointment time and date, but he will not answer. Other people after a few minutes are dropping off and they have no problem getting through on the phone. I’ve been tried to call the office number that they give you and there’s no answer there either. This was during their business hours I have never felt this way. To be spoken to so rudely when I had done everything possible. And then I thought, as I waited to get a return call, which never came… If they are this rude and cold to a human, imagine how rude they are to animals . And we left.

I just picked Noodle up from his first day of daycare and he is exhausted! It is clear he had a blast at daycare. Not only did they tire out my pup but they also bathed him and trimmed his nails. I could not recommend this place enough!

I sent my dog here for a 3 week training and even though my dog failed they were very helpful!! They were able to give me things to work on with her. She now comes here once a week to work on her socializing skills. I can say I have seen a huge change in my dog. I would highly recommend this place for training or boarding! I know my dog will be coming here once a week for as long as they will be here! They responded to every call and every question. When she was in her class I would get updates all the time. They didn’t do a normal cookie cutter training. They made sure it was being done at my dog’s pace as to not over stress her. Communication was on point and very stress free. Thanks again for everything!

Sadly my boy, Kylo passed away before our scheduled boarding days at this facility. However, we did get to do the initial meeting day and from that experience I was confident in leaving him at the Cool Dog Country Club while I would be out of town. I can say the place was very clean! The owner was nice and knowledgeable about dogs and certain breeds. Kylo was a very picky snacker and I think this was the first place where he took a treat from them in a long time. When its time again with a new pup, I will be using this facility for doggy daycare and boarding.
