VEG ER for Pets

Amazing! We had an emergency tough situation and to say that everyone at this vet was exceptional would be an understatement. The empathy was off the charts, the detail oriented nature was second to none, and the collaboration like it was second nature was top notch. They really wanted to do what was best for the dog and for us under the circumstances. They went above and beyond and the process was efficient and smooth. Can't recommend them enough god forbid you have an emergency with your furbaby.

I came here expecting to bring my young cat home, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Our Pixie was suffering from something essentially incurable, and we had to make the decision no pet owner ever wants to make. I was completely heartbroken and also worried about my daughter, who was at home expecting me to come back with her cat. The staff gave me the time and space I needed to make the best decision under such difficult circumstances. Dr. Madeline LeGros compassionately suggested that if I felt it would help my daughter, I could go home and bring her back to say goodbye one last time. I’m incredibly grateful we were able to do that. The entire team was informative, patient, and genuinely compassionate. They explained everything to me even when I wasn’t thinking clearly and supported us through one of the hardest moments a pet owner can face. Pixie was deeply loved, and I’m thankful she was surrounded by kindness and care in her final moments. I truly appreciate this team and would absolutely recommend them.

VEG in Paramus is amazing!! Every single person there, are simply angels. You can see the love in their eyes for helping your pet and to calm YOU DOWN. This is our Frenchie, Potato. She had a anaphylactic reaction to a cream. I quick called ahead, they met me at the front door. And got to work!! She has been resting it off all day and doing amazing! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️♥️

We came in with our pregnant cat because she was unable to deliver her kittens. We had previously gone to another hospital, but unfortunately, they were not able to help us. When we arrived at your hospital, the team was already prepared and waiting for us. Everything was handled very quickly and professionally. They provided us with a room right away and allowed me to stay close and check on my cat. The doctor was truly outstanding. He constantly monitored her, supported us, and carefully analyzed the entire situation. A real veterinarian in every sense of the word. We are very grateful and extremely satisfied with the care we received. And despite the further developments with my kittens, I want to sincerely thank the entire team who helped us today.

I brought my dog to VEG ER for Pets in Paramus this past Saturday around 10 p.m. because she was shaking constantly and panting. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful—attentive, thorough, and incredibly communicative. They took the time to explain every test and treatment, provided detailed results, and shared honest opinions throughout the process. Also, my dog isn’t the easiest, she sure is “spicy,” and you all were so patient with her!!! We were cared for by both the night and day teams, and both were equally attentive and compassionate. You can truly tell they love their patients and are deeply committed to helping them feel better. While I didn’t get the names of everyone who helped us, I’d like to give special thanks to all the night/day doctors, especially Dr. Lu, both Melissas, Arianna, Zawatti (apologies if misspelled), Kristin, Mary, Amanda, and the entire VEG Paramus team. Thank you all for taking such exceptional care of my Maggie. Because of VEG, we’re holding her a little closer and feeling so grateful to be celebrating her 9th birthday tomorrow! THANK YOU!
