Westwood Animal Hospital

I’ve been bringing my adopted pets here for 10+ years and we have dealt with a variety of issues from wellness care, behavioral concerns, chronic illness, acute injuries, and end-of-life care. All of the staff and veterinarians have been knowledgeable and empathetic. I couldn’t imagine wanting to take my pets any place else. Special shout out to Emily at the front desk! 🙌

I first started going to Westwood Animal Hospital in 2007 when my Schnauzer was poisoned by that Chinese Melamine poison scandal. They helped me go through Ravens death. They gave me the information I needed to get the medical bills reimbursed by Iam’s Dog Food. I just showed up one evening after work and they didn’t hesitate helping us. I am on my fourth animal since then (a very ADHD and overly energetic Boxer, Tater. Always the best care for the animals and myself whenever the dogs/cats needed help. I recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Heather Martin distinguished herself to me as a great physician, and I say that as someone who's on the cusp of being a human doctor. During the life of my dog, she performed an emergency closure when my dog was attacked, she performed MASTERFUL cancer surgery when my dog had cancer, and at the end of my dog's life, she provided a loving level of guidance that taught me a ton about being a doctor, period. The staff at Westwood took care of my dog as though she were their own family member, and distinguished themselves as great practitioners of medicine throughout our time with them. My dog loved them just as much. And at the end, cards of love and sympathy showed up in our mailbox. Westwood Animal Hospital taught this doc-in-training a ton about practicing medicine for people, and I only hope I have the opportunity to return their kindness in the future. If you have veterinary needs, this is your hospital. We love their people very much, and we're blessed to have had them as our veterinary providers.

I've been taking my cats to Westwood Animal Hospital for over 15 years and we always feel cared for and listened to. Dr. Beyer, Dr. Weis and the other members of the staff, especially Emily and the team at the front desk, make us feel right at home. I've raised cats with them, gone through end of life care, and will always go back for more. These professionals really care for our dear creatures. We love Westwood Animal Hospital!

This clinic is awesome - clean and friendly staff. Been taking our dog here for almost 4 years now and we love it even more every time. It also has a shop where you can buy toys and food for your furry family👍🏽
