This magical trail entrance to Barton Creek tucked in neighborhood is your ticket to adventure. Hiking, biking, swimming, trail running, nature or rock climbing are all good options. Grab some tacos at the deli before or after to level up your day.. Plenty of street side parking at this dog friendly trail.

Such a gorgeous place! Definitely check it out. I wish I brought my dog. Had to leave him home for other reasons but there were so many other doggies on the trail. Also some rock climbers which were cool to watch!

Nice trail. Water was dried up, though. Famous filming location from Chase Banks: the Return of Chase Banks.

This spot was great for a Sunday afternoon hike. Shaded for the most part, to protect from this ridiculous hot demon Texas sun. Lots of little lizards, spider webs, flowers and butterflies. Spots are available for outdoor rock climbing as well if that’s your thing. Best thing I noticed is that the trail is well kept and has very little trash. I will be back for sure!

Stopped by for 30 minutes on the way to Fredericksburg. Cloudy day. No sun. Parking was easy on the street. Didn't have a whole lot of time so went a quarter mile each way. I was trying to look for the falls but I didn't see any in the short lengths I was on. At the end of the trailhead went left first. Relatively quiet, interesting terrain, Good for intrepid families with small kids on backs. Beautiful! a surreal like out of this world flat Rock spot. Right side seem good for people with dogs. Was a bit loud because of construction nearby. Path was also wider and flat not as interesting. Definitely want to come by again on another day when I have a bit more time. Recommend if you're in the area with you for a nice, easy hike.
