Happy Dog Resort

Left our two dogs over Christmas and they had the best time! Not only were they well cared for, but the bath they got made them smell amazing. We’re so happy with the communication from the staff about our pets during their visit, and we enjoyed the report cards and photos that came with their stay!! 100% suggest boarding your pups here!

I honestly wish I could give Happy Dog Resort more than 5 stars. I travel around due to my job. I’ve always taken my fur baby with me where I go. Therefore, I’ve had a lot of experiences with a lot of different type of dog daycares… and let me tell you.. this place set a new standard for me. From their friendliness on the phone, process, their staff, the facility, and wonderful care of my dog, it was a great experience. Not to mention INCREDIBLY AFFORDABLE. Every one of the staff I encountered was friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable. The 1st day Bosco was a bit shy (as he usually is) but by the 2nd morning, the dude was literally grabbing his leash to leave to go back to daycare. He had so much fun the entire time. How did I know? Because he was SO HAPPY to leave me. Which is unusual LOL. Not to mention, before I even pulled out of the parking lot from picking him up, he was passed out. He just had so much fun and play during the day! (He was taken to daycare for an entire week, dropped off at 7, and picked up around 5:30 each day.) We also had a small incident where Bosco was corrected by another dog. (no aggression or anything, dogs will be dogs, and sometimes yes nips happen to establish boundaries and social order. But there are NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS at this place. To be clear). Happy Dog Resort couldn’t have handled that small situation any better. They immediately called me, took pictures and made sure both dogs were settled and cared for. Bosco was 100% fine and it really was just a scratch. However, how the staff handled the situation established an incredible amount of trust and supported how compassionate and caring the staff is for the fur babies they are caring for! I also love that you can have access to the cameras to check in on your fur baby through the day! If you’re trying out a doggy day care for the 1st time or looking for a new home for your fur baby to go to daily, I 100% recommend Happy Dog Resort. Their prices are amazing, care is wonderful, and they truly leave me with no anxiety about how much dog will be doing while I’m way. I will be returning to the area for work, and Bosco will be returning to join his friends soon! To the owner- you’ve truly outdone yourself. Your staff is absolutely wonderful, and def radiate the message and care you’re wanting to convey from Happy Dog Resort. As someone who treats their dog like a human child, I appreciate what you and your staff have created.

We left our dog Deku at HAPPY DOG RESORT for 5 nights as we had a wedding out of state to attend. We came last minute since we JUST moved to the area and was warmly greeted and welcomed and took a tour of the facility. Upon 5 minutes inside, we knew that every single worker cared for the animals that were in their care. You’re dog gets lots of quality one on one time with their handler during their stay. Ours, suffered from separation anxiety, and they called us a few times to just let us know what was going on which we loved the communication they had with us. They tried their best on making him feel comfortable and played with him through out the day. Deku stayed in a luxury suite with access to the camera which of was great for me. We met the owner, and again, felt very comfortable with leaving our baby in the hands of strangers we just met. They did an AMAZING job and while our dog was a bit anxious, I will not fault the resort on his behavior. I would recommend this resort to other people in a heart beat due to the kind, loving, professional workers that are employed here. THANK YOU AGAIN!

I'm so happy we found the Happy Dog Resort! We initially just needed someone to groom our yellow lab but part of their process is a four hour behavior assessment for daycare. We may eventually need that, so why not? Hope loves to play and got to play with a bunch of friendly pooches of all sizes. She had such a blast and it was great to watch her on the multiple cameras remotely. There were always 1-2 or more adults present, depending on the # of dogs, which is great. Hope came home nicely groomed, no more itchy, dry skin, nails clipped and exhausted. I also loved that Hope got a report card where we learned she was friendly, domineering, playful and liked to butt in when other dogs were playing, LOL. Not shocked! We will definitely be back!

My pup Finn has been going to Happy Dog for doggy daycare since they opened and he LOVES it! He is always so eager to get inside and play with his friends (dogs and humans alike)! He plays hard and is always exhausted when I pick him up. Happy Dog has many perks, such as live video footage of the play areas and daily report cards with photos and details about your pup's day (to name a few). It is clear that the staff truly cares about the wellbeing and safety of each animal. There is no place like Happy Dog Resort and I highly recommend!!
