Gentle Loving Care Dog Grooming

Called to get pricing after reading the following on their website: “Although we work with all breeds there are a few breeds that owners have a difficult time finding a good groomer to work with. These breeds include: Bichon Frise Poodles Doodles Pomeranians Large Dogs Nervous Dogs If this describes your dog, we would love the opportunity to work with you. We aim to provide consistent, compassionate care and become your trusted groomer for the long term.” That sounded perfect. I call to setup an appointment and I’m told that they do not see huskies. I understand if you don’t want to work with certain breeds, but having that verbiage on your website with “we work with all breeds” only to be told except not my dog is certainly poor practice. I work in the vet industry, understand high stressed dogs, and would not send a destructive dog to just any groomer. Please update your website.

We have been taking our large doodle here for over a year and couldn’t recommend a better place for pet grooming. The workers are so kind and understanding of your desired cut and your pet’s needs. Our dog is fairly timid when it comes to grooming and they are always super patient with him, he has come a long way since we started sending him to GLC and I know he feels safe with them. Sadly we are moving away and will no longer be able to see these wonderful women, we will miss them! You can count on them to get you pup clean and cut every time!

I'd give more stars if I could. I have a little beagle who can be quite a handful. One of the big box stores said he wasn't welcome anymore and even the vet said they would probably have to give him anesthesia to do his nails. I saw on Gentle Loving Care's website that they are open to working with difficult dogs and so I brought my beagles to them. It was a huge relief to not only find a place willing to work with him but they are SO kind to me and my pups. Make sure you call well in advance, they are booked and busy but they are worth the wait!!

I could not speak more highly of this business. We had our first grooming appointment after moving to the Denver area here at Gentle Loving Care Grooming and we won’t go anywhere else. Ever. From booking the appointment to paying & leaving was a seamless process. The women here are friendly, funny & very welcoming to pups & their humans. You can tell they love what they do and that they love their pets. Frodo had lots of matting & knots from our move and desperately needed a good groom. The ladies here had patience with my too-smart-for- his-own-good, high energy pup and they called to update me throughout the grooming. Frodo barely wanted to leave he was so happy. For this good of an experience, I would’ve paid hundred of dollars but the cherry on top is that the prices here are extremely reasonable and it’s worth every penny to see your pup happy when leaving the groomer. Will be coming back & have already started recommending this place to my dog owner friends! Your dog deserves some Gentle Loving Care so BOOK HERE!!!

HIGHLY recommend Eunice at this place!! I had originally taken my 6 month maltese mix puppy to petco and they had to have me return to get her after an hour because she was too rowdy and they couldn't get her hair cut done. Eunice was incredibly kind and handled my hyper puppy so well. She managed to give her an amazing hair cut at a great price. The name of this business says it all, so look no further if you want people who care to make your babies look beautiful! Photos below of before and after.
