the client portal is useful and made notes for care easy. they don’t have strict requirements for how close vaccines are given for boarding so i was able to do semi-last-minute boarding thankfully. the very little i saw of the facility looked fair. could use some updating but everything seemed relatively clean and the kennels are at least newer. my biggest issue is the low quality for a high price and lack of transparency/communication. when dropping my dog off, they noted his lipoma and a pigmented growth and assured their kennel techs would alert to anything abnormal during his stay. i left my dog there feeling confident but after 10 nights i received no type of updates or communication that he had started irritating the pigmented growth. the only update i got was when i called a few days into my trip to check on him and was told everything was good and he was doing well. picking him up, i immediately noticed blood on him from irritating the growth and still nobody said a thing. luckily, i’m in the vet field and he’s had this growth for 8 years so i wasn’t super alarmed, but i can’t imagine if it were someone else who might not know why their dog’s growth is all of a sudden raw and bleeding after being fine for years. it’s extra frustrating because i could have easily had a cone brought to Sutton’s for them to put on my dog so it didn’t continue to worsen and risk a damn infection. (first picture is after getting home and cleaning up the blood, 2nd picture is how it looked before) i can tell he’s been messing with it for at least 48 hours, so the fact that no one said a thing even upon pick-up is appalling. it’s crazy that you pay $36/night and they can’t call or send a quick text about how your pet is doing regularly but especially if something is out of the ordinary. and if they ignore and/or hide little things like this, i can’t expect them to act appropriately if my pet really needed them. there’s places that charge less and offer WAY more. places that send daily updates (with no up-charge) and do things like give complimentary baths for stays over 7 days. this place is a last resort type of option.

I've been taking my dog here to board and some grooming services for a year or two now and I always have amazing service! They love my dog and are always excited to see her! My dog also gets excited when we pull up! Very wonderful people. I trust them to take good care of my pet!

I have kept my baby boy here due to the fact that my bf and i went on a cruise. My friend from church, Miss Delila recommended it highly to me. So, i had to put my baby in the best care possible. So, off we went on our 5 day cruise while baby got attention. One hiccup he got an upset tummy. They were great and texted me. I kept in touch. They did ask if he could hv natural probiotic to help settle his tummy. By all means i said yes.Long story short. I will pick him up 1 day early no fault of Sutyons bc i dont want to cause them or baby boy extra or undue stress. I ask for a 1 day or half day credit to be paid fwd to next stay; as bf and i like to travel. Their staff said they would most certainly ask the mgmt if that would be ok. They checked and it was. So, we will most definitely bk baby nxt time. He is an older dog. Eben if he still acts like a younher pup at 14.

My vet recommended calling them to board my two year old mastiff. He said it was were he boarded his dogs and that he was very pleased with their cleanliness and knowledgeable staff. The neighbor that was going to take care of Olivia had an emergency and wouldn't be able to care for her. Unfortunately, when I contacted them, they were completely booked up. I was very happy to see that Olivia was very comfortable with the four individuals we met. She seemed very at ease and comfortable. In the future, I think I will rely on making a reservation for her at Sutton's. I think she will be very happy there and I will know she will have wonderful care

It was our pups first day of daycare yesterday! He came home so tired! He was so eager to go back this morning! The staff has been so kind and I feel good leaving my puppy with them while I’m at work! I know he’s having fun and getting well taken care of. So glad we found Sutton’s!
