(from Google)My boyfriend and I love coming here! It’s walking distance and the food is always great. We love that the patio is heated so we can enjoy outdoor dining even in the winter.
We liked it! This is a cute neighborhood spot with a patio. The employees were very kind, and accommodating of gluten free. The deviled eggs were delicious. Same with the quinoa breakfast. My companions liked the breakfast burrito with tofu scramble instead of eggs, and devoured the chopped Ceasar salad with salmon. Yum!! We went at 1:15pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. Definitely check it out!
My friend and I went here on December 11th around lunch time. No wait. We were impressed with this neighborhood restaurant. So good and a hidden gem. The French dip was so good as was the lavender limeade. My friend got the chopped Kale & Romaine Caesar salad. He got protein grilled chicken added. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu and go back for dinner sometime. Keep up the great work. I got a canoli to go. It was good too!
We discovered this place for the first time looking for a Sunday brunch option. Had the croque madame and the mahi-mahi sandwich. Both were wonderful, the mahi bun, nice and soft and perfect tater tots. Nice enclosed outdoor area where we could bring our well-behaved dog. Will be back for sure to discover more of the menu. Waitress was very nice and friendly.
Neighborhood gem alert! We were on the hunt for a new lunch spot and stumbled upon Violet, tucked charmingly into a quiet neighborhood. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. We opted for the dog-friendly outdoor patio—partially covered and equipped with heaters for those chillier days. A nice touch! Bonus points for the separate doggie entrance on the side, which made bringing our pup a breeze. Always love when places think through the details for dog parents. The lunch menu is fresh, inviting, and even includes a solid selection of wine, sparkling options, beer, and cider. We kept it simple this time with good ol’ H2O, but the drink list definitely caught our eye. We kicked things off with Not Your Grandma’s Deviled Eggs—and they absolutely lived up to the name. Perfectly pickled with a creamy, well-balanced filling, and that little pickle spear crunch on top? Chef’s kiss. Next, we shared the Kale & Romaine Caesar. Unique and crunchy, with capers standing in for croutons (genius!). I’d just ask for a little extra dressing next time to really bring it home. Then came the Prosciutto & Rosemary Pinsa—yes, PINSA, not pizza. The crust was perfectly cooked, and the rosemary aroma was heavenly. Crisp, savory, and deeply satisfying. Our server was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and happy to answer questions. On our way out, we peeked at the dessert case (yes, we’re already planning our return). Those cannoli looked like they’re ready to be our next craving. Violet is definitely on our “come back soon” list.
