The One Horse Taphouse

Orenco doesnt have many options for bars, but this is definitely our top choice in the walking area of central Orenco. They do not serve food, but you are able to bring your food inside with you from any other local restaurants. They also have a food cart out the front most of the time and they have decent food. The best value here I think is the friendly staff behind the bar. It is usually manned by just 1 bartender, but they are super kind and efficient at pouring a beer. Theres sports on TV if you want to watch it, but it's not overbearing like around the corner at schmitza (same owner). A couple arcade machines in the corner that I rarely see being used and a pool table slightly jammed into another corner. I like that it ventures away from the American booth style seating that restricts groups to only talking to themselves. Get people socializing, it's the reason they came out in the first place!

The sign says it all, this is a tap-house, no meals, and barely a variety of beverages. If you're lucky, there appears to be a partnership with local food trucks to park near the entrance.

A great neighborhood place to go have a drink and hang out. Good beers and liquor and a very nice relaxed environment. Did is mainly from food trucks just outside and depends your tastes and wants can be a mix. I personally like the rotation but i have friends who just want the same thing all the time. Overall very friendly and super nice place to chill.

Great tap list and dogs are welcome. They don't serve food but you can bring your own. Sometimes, there's a food truck out front. There are a bunch of picnic tables out front with umbrellas. I wish they opened earlier, but Pizza Schmizza is only a block away, and they also have a good tap list.

The perfect bar in Orenco! Just what the area needed, and they have rotating food trucks so there is constantly a variety + you are supporting local! The drinks are well poured, rightfully priced, and the service is great! I ordered a Modelo and asked for Tajin on the rim - they were out but they said it was on the way! The owner literally ran to the store for it! I love coming here!
